no one believes in me

i'm south african and i wan't to go to america for aupair work and in my spare time study for fashion design. but my parents don't believe that i will do it and so i have no support what so ever to get where i want to be.

I understand what you mean and it´s the same with me. I changed my mind all the time about it cause ppl did´nt believe in me but finally I know what I want and the most important thing is that you yourself believe in you. If you do then you dont need anyone. You cant just give up your dreams because of ppl...the most imp thing is that you belive in yourself and that you work hard for it and I´m sure that you will make it :thumbsup:

Hey i've got family in south africa so I should help. LOL. Dont listen to them. Work really hard and when you feel the time is right just leave. Become what you want to be. Dont let People get into your head. Hey some people here on the forums are here to support you mentally, but maybe not finacial wise.

I know it's hard to get anywhere without support or belief from anybody that you can do it. It's for yourself, and I think that you just need self motivation and drive to achieve it yourself. It doesn't matter what THEY want because it's your life =D Well it does to a certain degree but eh. If you really want it bad, work hard till you get it! It'll be worth it and it sounds like an awesome experiance for you. Good luck!
