oh to acdc, that was mad to let your imagination wander a little. im going to try to update when my classes are over.

"So what are we going to do today?"

Brad asked as they all sat around a hotel room in New york City. Mike yawned ans streatched as he put his arm around anna.

"We need to go get some new clothes for the party that Bob put us up for tonight. I dont thing any one of us brought a suit in our suit cases."

Phoenix said as he kissed Lindsey. The girls nodded.

"Yeah if we knew about the party then we would have been able to pack something nice."

Karen said. She was Joe's Girlfriend.

"So where's your new girlfriend Chester?"

Rob asked, his voice calm. Melissa could see the hate in his eyes. Chester waved his hand. apparently he didnt know that his band mates didnt like his new playboy bunny girlfriend.

"She went out for a morning run."

He said passively. Melissa gave Rob's hand a strong squeeze to keep him from getting up and punching chester. She didnt know why she didnt just let him knock chester out. He was such an ass hole for not seeing how she treated the other girls. Especaily her. She treated her like a piece of shit. Always looking down on her and talking condesendingly to her.

"Well you wait for her and we'll go shopping so you can meet us at lunch or something."

Mike said trying to be diplomatic. He hated Chesters girl as much as Rob did. They all stood up suddenly and slammed the door behinde them. Rob and melissa held hands as the rest of the guys and their significant others walked ahead of them. They stopped in one shop so the guys could get a nice shirt and tie. the girls were giggeling as they watched the boys toss shirts over to each other over the dressing room stalls. Finally they all came out.

"come here."

Melissa said as she pulled Rob over by the untied tie. She tied it for him nicely.

"Thank you."

Rob said softly as he took her hands in his.

"You look really handsome and sharp in this."

She said kissing him on the cheek. The guys paid for the shirts and ties.

"Oh great, these girls are going to take forever."

Brad laughed. But he like the others, loved to see the girls in slightly revealing clothes. Hey, he was only a raging sack of testosterone just like the rest of the guys. Anna and Monica went into a store, dragging brad and mike with them. Melissa, Lindsey, Karen, Rob, Phoenix, and Joe followed after them.

"Hey Melissa, this would look so cute on you!"

Anna said as she showed her a very form Fitting dress. she took it and tried it on. as she walked ou to show the guys, their jaws dropped.

"Holy fuck. You look amazing."

rob said. The guys turned to look at rob with astounded looks on their faces.

"Oh my god, rob just cursed."

Brad said amazed. He had never heard his friend curse before.

(rob's pov)

 

Mike was right. something was up at this party. I was pulled to the side by the former guitarest of good charlotte. Billy had a scary message for me. My instinct told me that everything he was saying was true. If it was, the i must get everyone out of here. I sat back down at the table with he rest of the guys and the girls. I passed mike the note that Billy had pressed into my hand.

"What's this?"

Mike whispered. I leaned over to talk to him.

"its a message from a friend."

I whispered. I watched mike open it and read it. he nodded and then passeI it to Brad.

"we need to get out of here."

Mike said. I looked over to see Chester being drunk.

"we dont need an excuse. Lets get the rest of the guys and get the hell out of here."

I said. The other guys stood up and took their wives/ girlfriends by the arms and led them out side. I couldnt find chester's girlfriend any where. what ever that two faced son of a weasel can find her own way back. I loaded chester into the car and we all drove off. Minutes later as we made our way to the other side of town, there was a huge explosion as the hotel that we were at with that party went up into flames.

"He was right."

Mike said in a hoars whisper. His voice cracked. I saw his face. it was pale and sweaty just like the rest of us.

"He's right, someone is after us."

Brad said in a shaky voice. Melissa tightened her grip on my hands.

"But things are going to be alright arent they?"

She asked me with fear in her voice. The car came to a stop infront of the hotel we were staying in. I gasped. Billy and Paul.

"What are you two doing here?"

Mike asked in disbelief.

"we are here to protect you and the band."

Paul said as he patted his rifle. Billy nodded as he snapped the scope on his.

"We know what your up against. we know who wants you dead."

Billy said. Mike's eyes went from skeptical to intrested.

"I'd like to know whats up."

They all were crammed in Mike's hotel room, anxiously pacing back and forth as Billy and Paul sat in silence, their rifels at the ready.

"Please we want to know what's going on."

Melissa pleaded with the two, she got no answer. Mike took in a slow deep and paitent breath.

"We need to know who's after us and for what reason.Another thing that might be helpful to us is why are you telling us."

Mike said, his voice steady and to the point.

"Mike, we are telling you this because we are tired of working for a slave driver and if he is willing to kill off his friends in MEST, then he wouldnt hesitate to kill us. "

Paul said. Billy nodded.

"So Benji is behind this?"

Brad demanded as Monica gasped and grabbed onto his arm.

"Yes, he wants revenge on you for killing his brother. He was the one that kidnapped Melissa, He fired on your camping trip in the mountains and threatened to kill draven, he did the bomb at the MEST concert. And now he is going to try to pick you apart if its the last thing he does."

Billy said with a look of disgust on his face. Chester was still passed out drunk on the floor.

"So what do you prapose that we do?"

Bob Dallas asked. Billy looked at him with a superior look on his face.

"we kill him before he kills us."

"Woa, do you think we could do something with a little less vioence?"

Rob pleaded. He was normally never one for violence or cursing.

"You have to get rid of him. I know for a fact that if you put him away in prison, he will get out and come after you with more of a vengance."

Paul explained. The guys gulped and nodded. They had been in retirement along time. They didnt even know if they could still do the things that they used to do.

"He does want to fight you face to face. One on one so he can personally kill you. But he really has it in for only one of you."

Billy said taking a moment to polish the barrel of his rifel.

"Which one of us does he want?"

Dave asked sharply.

"He wants you, Rob. He thinks that your the one who killed Joel. He wants to have your head mounted on a plaque."

Billy said as gave a bitter thought at his former friend. Rob swallowed hard.

"I've never touched a hair on Joel's head! He and I were good friends, why would I kill him?"

Rob said his voice rising and cracking. It was close to becoming hysterical. The look of terror in his eyes made his band mates worry.

"I know that and so does paul. But Benji is still jealous of the friendship that you had with Joel. That is why he's convinced that you're the one that killed him."

Billy said. Melissa put her hand on Rob's leg. She was scared too.

"Rob, please don't fight him. I don't want to loose you."

She said, tears forming in her eyes.

"I don't know Melissa, it seems like I have no choice. I want to keep everyone safe, and if it means I have to fight Benji and die then I'll take that chance."

He said pulling her into a hug. She pushed him away.

"You're being so damn stupid! There are other ways to keep him away!"

She shouted. Rob tried to grab her hand, he had no luck as she pushed him away once more. God, he thought, I hate the shinoda stubborn-ness!

"Melissa please if you have another way, let me know! I dont want to fight him any more then you want me to but it has to be done or else others might die!"

Rob said his voice rising with anger and frustration.

"I dont know right now so dont fight him!"

She screamed at him. Rob winced at the sound, it hurt his ears, just like Chester's screams when his wife left him.

"I have to! Do you think that Nick, Tony, Jeramiah, and Matt would have wanted their killer to walk free?! They were his best friends Melissa so he killed them trying to kill me! He has every right to die!"

He shouted matching her screams. She stood up and turned away and ran. Rob gave a growl of frustration. The door slammed.

"Sorry man but I guess your just going to have to share a room with me and anna."

Mike said putting a hand on his friends shoulder.

"God damn it! She just dosent understand!"

Rob hissed as he pounded his fist on the wall. Mike gave a small laugh.

"Rob, she understands more then we give her credit for. She's just lost alot of things in her life. Everything from her eyesight, to her mom, to brad at one point, to her dignity and selfrespect. You and this band are the one thing she has left keeping her here. I could say that she dosent need you to tell her that everything is going to be alright, but that would be a god damned lie. She needs you. She needs to know that you will be there for her, even if you come off bad."

Mike said trying to calm the younger man down.

"She's scared for you."

Mike said once more.

"Well im scared to death about this too. I'm scared that im going to have to leave her here on this world alone. Because I-I-I-I have something that I really want to ask her."

He said, not looking at Mike. A wide grin etched across Mike's face.

"If you're going to ask her to marry you, you better do it now. Use it as a promise. Trust me, you'll know that when you fight, if you remember the promise, I can almost gaurentee you will win."

Mike said encouraging the younger man. Rob nodded, trying to swallow the hard lump in his throat.

ok since im in a good mood and I passed both world history and the calculus exams with an 80 a piece ill make the next part nice and long. here ya go.

 

She was face down on the bed sobbing into the pillow. She was scared as hell. Outside, thunder rumbeled and the lightning illuminated the small room. Rain pounded on the balcony window. He couldnt do this to her. Melissa was certaint that he was going to be hurt badly.

"Why? I don't want him to go!"

She cried. She burried her face in the pillow. She felt a familiar hand on her back. Knowing who it was she pulled away from his touch.

"Please Melissa, I want to tell you something."

Rob said exasperatedly. She continued to sob.

"I know that you dont want to go, but I have to. I dont want any more people to be hurt. I will get revenge on him for you. He killed your friends, he took your eye sight."

Melissa turned to him and burried her face in his shirt.

"Your going to get hurt. I know it. I dont want you to go."

Rob put his arms around her and gently swayed back and forth.

"Melissa, please stop crying for a moment."

He said. She sniffed and nodded. She looked at Rob strangly, he was already on his knees.

"Melissa consider this a promise that I will come back for you. Know that no matter what happens to me that I will always be there for you. I know that traditionaly im suposed to give you a ring but I want you to have this instead as my promise to marry you when I come back."

He pulled out a small box and inside it was a little necklace locket. it was shaped like a dog tag, at first glance she thought it was one. But then Rob opened it up to show her that it had the picture of when they first met then a picture of them more recently, him standing over her with his drumsticks in her hands showing her how to play. Then after closing it up he showed her the front.

"Read it out please."

He said his voice soft and his heart racing.

"Robert Gregory and Melissa Kathrine, I'll love you forever I'll like you for always..."

Rob then flipped it over in her hand so she could finish.

"No matter where I am my angel you'll be."

Tears began to form in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around rob's neck hugging him.

"Of course I will. this means the world to me."

She said her voice muffeled in his shirt.

"You don't have to worry. I will win. I wont let him hurt any one else."

"I know. I love you Rob. Please stay safe."

"I will. I'll be back before morning."

He said as he changed clothes.

"I wait here."

"No. I want you to come. I want you to be my seccond if anything happens."

Rob said as he held her soft hands in his rough and calloused hands.

 

To melissa it looked like something right out of their one step closer video. The rest of the guys had stayed back at the hotel under the watchfull eyes of Billy and Paul. The werehouse was big and cavernous. the smallest sound echoed. Footsteps had the two back to back, turning , looking for some sort of opponant. There was a loud clunk and the sound of electricity, the lights in the werehouse came on. There he was. Benji.

"I see you brought your girlfriend along, Bourden. not a wise move."

He snapped his fingers and a big burly man grabbed Melissa and pinned her to the wall. Rob spared her a momentary glance before turning back to Benji. Melissa would be alright, Rob knew that. She had been training in Martial Arts since she could walk and he had been on the recieving end of one of her right hooks and round house kicks.

"You have to leave us alone and let her go if I win!"

Rob shouted as he assumed his fighting stance.

"You have my word."

There was a loud thunk and Ki cry. Both of the men jumped and Rob looked behinde him. Melissa had the big guy flat on his face sitting on his back with his arm looking discombobulated as she held it.

"Don't worry about me just kick his ass!"

She shouted. Benji charged across the floor and slid, knocking the feet right out from under Rob. Rob fell backwards into a roll, comming up again his feet in a wide stance, supporting his weight, Benji lashed a kick at him. Rob blocked with his fore arm and pushed Benji away. Benji came at him again with a side kick, rob caught his foot and threw him back across the room. Rob tossed his hat to Melissa and wiped the sweat off of his forehead. This time rob went at Benji, catching him off guard with his foot right across his face. Benji cursed as he spit blood out. Rob had drawn first blood. Rob's foot connected solidly with his head as he came around in a spinning kick. Benji lunged at Rob, knocking him to the ground. As the two rolled on the floor, Benji made cheap shots to rob's face. Rob twisted his legs around Benji's neck and threw all of his weight to the side, tightening his legs around his neck. Rob could hear the gasping for air comming from his opponant. He let him go, Rob spun around as he landed a punch across benji's face

"That was for killing the mest guys and this is for killing those people in the hotel you blew up!"

Rob snarled as he sent benji flying into a wall. He wiped the blood off his lip.

"And most importantly, this is for hurting Melissa!"

Rob jammed his elbow into his throat, crushing his airway and then severing his spine. Rob coughed hard as he spit blood out. Melissa ran to Rob. she threw his arm over her shoulders and supported him as he almost collapsed from exchaustion.

"You were amazing, Rob, I shouldnt have doubted you."

Melissa said as she brought him out side to the cool New York air. the rain punded his face, making him wince from pain. His chest was heaving up and down as he tried to catch his breath. Something drove past them, spraying them with water. The brake lights flared as the door opened and Mike and Dave came out. They took rob from melissa. Her shirt was soaked and drenched with Rob's blood. brad held out his hand and pulled her inside the van safely.

"What the hell happened?"

Chester asked as he looked at Rob.

"Rob beat him, he was amazing."

Melissa said while Brad tended to the cuts on her neck and face that she had gotten from the big bald guy slamming her against the wall.

"You mean he beat benji? that benji's dead?"

Billy asked as he helped clean out Rob's cuts and gashes.

"Yeah he's dead. You think that I'd fight the man half assed?"

Rob said as Mike Wrapped up his hand.

"I dont think you'll be playing the next few shows Rob-ster. Not with your hand like it is."

Mike said. Rob winced as Dave put pressure on his leg.

"Well we either have to cancel the shows or get someone else to play."

Dave said. rob held up his hand stopping dave.

"We arent canceling the shows. that is an unthinkable thing. besides, Melissa can play just like she played for brad. “

"I cant tell you how much everything you've done has ment to me."

rob said. it was two months after they had gotten married. Rob still had his hands in bandages after the fight, it turned out that he shattered his wrists while he was punching benji. Melissa was taking care of him.

"Rob its just an act of love."

She said kissing him on the forehead. Her cuts had healed in the end most of them in scars. The band was on a break, being that rob couldnt play and neither could melissa. She was pregnant with Robs kid. The door bell rang. Melissa stood up slowly to get it. Rob looked saddly at his broken hands he missed playing the drums so much. but soon enough, he'd be able to play. Mike and joe brought in some pizza and beer.

"HEy."

Mike said giving Melissa an awkward hug. Joe patted rob on the back.

"Hey big man. hows the hands?"

"Well i get the casts off tomorrow and i can play after about one more week"

Rob said smiling. Joe nodded. He felt it would be good to be able to practice with the whole band again. but then they shouldnt start anything because of Melissa.

"So how about we watch a few movies untill brad chaz and Phi get here. They said something about needing more beer."

Everyone rolled their eyes. chester always wanted more beer then he could swallow.

"You know they are still talking about the fight on chat rooms and such?"

Mike commented. Joe laughed.

"Yeah the GC fans arnt too happy but the LP fans think its the coolest thing on earth."

Joe said. They sat down on the couch.

"You know they even have a betting pool going around on what its going to be, a girl or a boy."

Melissa said as they changed the chanel to MTV. Rob put his arm around Melissa as they watched the MTV news. They all groaned as the newscaster started talking about the new addition to the Linkin Park family.

"I always wanted to know how they get this information."

Mike said shaking his head. The door bell rang. This time mike went to get it. It was the rest of the linkin park-ers with beer and food and a bag of letters.

"Rob you know that theres a huge bag of letters and packages out here?"

Chester said.

"Lets see some of this stuff."

Rob said as they emptied out the bag. Mike opened one of the packages.

"Wow rob, this fan sent you a LP baby blanket."

Mike said showing it to the guys. Joe opened the letters up.

"They want to wish you congrats with the baby."

hell ill update now, here is the final chapter in out come the wolves. hope youve liked reading it as much as I liked writing it

 

Rob starred at this little thing in his arms. He couldnt believe it. The baby made no noise, but puncked and kicked with his tiny little fists and feet. the baby boy was wrapped up in the Linkin Park blanket that they had gotten from one of the fans. Draven peeked up over his fathers leg to get a better look at Rob and the baby.

"What's his name?"

Draven asked chester as he looked up to his dad.

"His name is Hunter. Hunter Robert."

Little draven frowned.

"His name sounds worse then mine."

Chester laughed softly as he picked up draven and sat him on his lap. The rest of the guys were standing around taking turns holding the baby. Rob felt as if everything in his life up to now was seccond to this. He was so proud of his boy. Even his parents had come to see him. Rob took hunter in his arms once more from Joe. His mouth slightly open, in awe of this new thing in his life. He rocked him back and forth back and forth. there was a song playing on the radio. He felt like he had finally found one more love to hold in his life that would always be there, just like drumming and Melissa. The haunting Linkin Park song was playing, He had finally found everything he ever wanted.
