I love them. I'm listening to Blue Orchid right now.

 

They are so original, you probally haven't heard anything like them. There is just to people in the band, a drummer and a guitarist/vocalist.

I haven't "really" listened to their music too much, but I think they're an alright band, not too into them tho. One of my friend's really like Blue Orchid as well.

I love their videos too! My friends and family think they're disturbing though...but they think I'm disturbing to so I guess it fits.

They are quite far from original. There are a lot of influences that Jack draws from. He's a pretty darn good guitar player, but that's where it's at. That's the White Stripes best virtue. A decent guitar. Meg knows how to keep a beat and that's all Jack needs. However, she does nothing else to spruce it up. When you only have two people in the band, both players need to be extraordinarily special along with its end result. That's not the case with the White Stripes.

 

I have yet to listen to their newest record. I've been listening to too many other new records at this point. But I hear they've made a few new wrinkles in their sound, which is good news.

 

Overall, the White Stripes are merely ok. Nothing special.

theyre ok...i mean i kinda got all white-striped out with my friends talking about them constantly...but theyre not bad...i wouldnt go and buy their cd or anything, but if someone gave it to me i wouldnt be upset...*shrugs shoulders*

Sorry for people who disagree but I totally think the white stripes are crap music. nothing more to be said. they SUCK. i dont see creativity in any of their songs. they all sound the same, which all sound like crap anyway.

All the songs sound really different. They are different from everyone else, so that shows creativity.

White Strips are good. They are really orginal and blue orchid is an amazingly quirky song.
