Worthless Tears

Early one May morning

My stomache started to churn

My world was soon to change

I'd be left with no where to turrn

 

As I look back, I should have known

Everything was out of place

And then it happened

Thank God only she saw my face

 

Now it's more than a month later

In fact it's more than two

I still haven't become a hater

What the fuck should I do?

 

My world upside down

My head spinning

Apparently God has a plan for me

But it has nothing to do with winning

 

Night after night

As I lay in my bed

I start crying

Images of her in my head

 

She'll never know how I truly feel

That's the way it has to be

I love her with all my heart

But the only one that feels that way seems to be me

 

As I sit on the sideline

And watch everyone live their life

Horrific thoughts flood my mind

Maybe I should take my own life

 

I've tried everything else

But to no avail

That's the way my life is to be

I'll always be the one to fail

 

As she moves on

I'll still be here

When she forgets me

She wont shed a tear

 

Will I always feel incomplete?

Will I always be the one to beat?

 

All I can do is pray

Pray that she'll change her mind

That she'll see the big picture

And that I can't live without her
