Magic Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Hi Guys, Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm a HUGE Linkin Park fan. I'm just confused about the whole LP/JZ thing....was it a one-off thing? I like it a lot but I just thought that Linkin Park were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING the way they were (Hybrid Theory, Meteora, Reanimation)...but they are still re-mixing the old songs, now with Jay Z, whats the deal? Anyhow, three questions really. When (if ever) can we expect the next studio album for Linkin Park (without Jay Z or any other artist collaboration)? Also, what is Linkin Park working on right now and whats upcoming in their calendar? Anyone know when they are coming to England next (performing wise)? Regards, Magic Quote

And Linki Park/Jay-Z is over now. Jay-Z just started making remixes with Linkin Park because his fans and stuff asked him to do a collaboration with some other artist(s) and he did, his former rival, R.Kelly. But after they finished, and after they went on tour, it all fell apart again, and they became rivals once more. Since that went bad, they asked him to do another collaboration, and Jay-Z said even if it went bad, this is the last one, he chose LP and it happened, of course everything went well with Linkin Park. spike91232004 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 We all thought that it would be finally released at the end of this year before we heard the news about Mike's Solo Album "The Rising Tied" which will be released I heard around November. So that really ruins the new album coming out any time soon. So lets just estimate it's release... I am going to guess around Mid-2006. I know that last summer they already started Guitar Riffs, Beats and maybe even lyrics for the album, so they were starting somewhat. Quote
