Dedicated

 

 

The gramophone blending in with black and white,

Its ancient classics efflorescing a peaceful sight.

The boulevard filled with innocent chaos,

singing a lullaby that echoes through the walls.

Leaves are shed on this December demise,

Forming a piece of an idyllic scene.

 

The momentum trembling with an unknown fear,

The waves rushing in as the departure’s here.

Pouring down like an endless cascade,

Taking away souls that were once so near.

Sea gulls starting the flow of faithless tears,

Beginning the glissando that’s too sharp to hear.

 

Mixing her fear with anxiety,

The woman cries out to no one in sight.

Her baby’s sleeping so deep in her arms,

Unknown of the future that is right in front.

She wants him to survive the next sunrise,

But the next moment he’s lost without a cry.

 

A man’s shouting for escape,

Running as he holds the hand of his love.

The urge to shield her from all the pain,

But the truth is so much more than he can take.

He’s slowly losing grip of her,

But in heaven, the hold remains near.

 

The death enchantments killing the flame,

The spirit of life drenched in the midst of pain.

Thousands of fallen angels cry in vain,

Crimson debts are left with no one to claim.

The mellow colors faded to a distant grey,

As the city is flooded with its fallen grace.

 

Myriad bodies lying dead on the ground,

Sinking in the deep ocean that can’t be found.

Blood has been drained from the skin,

Nothing but a piece of white can be seen.

The souls linger in the sky above,

Singing a twisted melody of unfound peace.

 

 

A burning sensation as blood drips from the wounds,

The hearts left behind have nothing but pain to feel.

No one to cry to, no place to go,

Their homes vanished into broken dreams.

Tears from the eyes,bleeding from the inside,

Merging with the grief and imprinted on their memories.

 

Puzzles are broken into million pieces,

As families are separated by the ocean of tears.

The ones left behind have so much to deal,

But they must find the courage to face the fears.

The lives sacrificed become a remembrance,

But in our hearts, may they live forever.

 

This moment,

I pray.

wow,thanks for that,i never thought that i can be inspiring..lol.. i started writing about 2 years ago, got some remarks from people in other forums on improving my writing and i worked on it..
