Oh Goodness's sake!! Seriously, my funny angel Littleblackstone my stories can be fine, and it can have the power to influence in you (I hope it does it with a good sense ) but your pics arent less than my stories... It also has a BIIIIGG power in me, even more, I can say properly, Mike's pics has a delayed influence in me.... I checked it yesterday when after to spend some time in the computer I went downstairs (my house has two floors) to see the tv. My mum was there and after some minutes, she asked:

 

-Who is Mike, lorena?? :eek:

 

CAN YOU IMAGINE MY FACE??? I was all tomatoes's envy!! I went as red as the most bigger beetroot you can ever imagine!!!:scary:

 

-Why?-I asked her with my face as hot as a dangerous fire. And then, I added- He's a LP's member. He's great, you know. He's an artist: he sings, he has his own rapper band, he plays the guitar, the piano and he paints. I'd love to be like him.... he's a master in music and art!!

MY FACE WHEN I FINISHED TO TALK:o :o :o :o

 

-And what is this about a "Mike's Angel"?- she asked me.... Seriously, I didnt know if to kill myself or to kill her. That morning she had been cleaning my room (while I was in the gym) and she took my case and, suddenly, it was opened without being her intention and inside it, I had wrote: I'm a Mike's angel with a small pic of him.....

She started to laugh with fun and along the evening I could have compared my face with a alive tomato when I was looking at her and she was smiling of me with a ironic smile. When the night came, and I was cooked the dinner she came to me and she said me:

-I dont care if you like this band and this guy, but, Lorena, you're old enough for this...:o Try not to build lovely stories in your mind, cos I know you very well.

-Mum, you know why I wrote it (obviously I had to tell her everything... what if not??). I know I'm 21 and not 15. It's just only a game for me and my forum's mates. I know I wont never know him or other LP's member (:'( ) and, btw, I dont make romantic illusions in my mind. I'm too busy for it (cough, cough.... This isnt totally true... buy what can I do if not? My mind'd exploit with all ideas I've along the day!!

 

 

What a day was yesterday, God!! After this, when I went to walk (as I do everyday) I started to listening some music in my mp3 and.... I CANTTT!!:'( It's impossible for me. My mind started to work creating new stories... and the reality is that, at the end of the walk, I had a new plot for a new story... and nowadays, It's already in process of production... you'll have it here soon, if you want it... I'll give you a clue : this new story will be different, the plot is not romantic but LP has helped me...

 

Meanwhile, well, why dont we follow the routine??? ENJOY ITT!!!

Well, at least, you're luckier than me, 'cos your mum doesnt stop talking about him (I hope in a good sense and with good comments!!) but my mother... well, since then I cant talk about LP without my mother doesnt look at me with an strange look... or I imagine this, 'cos yesterday, I dont even try to think in anything that has a relation with LP... I dont know how my face is going to act... although, it's quite surprising for me, but in one long travel that I did with my parents in car I recorded a disk with some songs and one of them was "Where'd you go"... they like it!!! Oh God, you never know what the destiny has prepared for you!!

If I'm honest I'm fed up of writing love stories (but, it doesnt mind that if all of you like them, I write more in the future. For me, one of the most important thing for me is the motivation of knowing your opinion about the stories. and, honestly, I dont care if they good or bad... About the mom issue... lol my mom hates celebrity worshipers. Well as you can see I am her good daughter. lol And on the tragic side of things, a part of the reason why she didn't let me go see LP (:'(:'(:'(:'() was because she doesn't really... um, like people, especially girls (but well i was born a girl so not my fault), who worship bands/singers/actors etc. Well... too bad, it's not like she really knows how much I love LP. lol And she never knows what I do on the computer anyways. lol and i don't think she's very much for connecting with so many people on the net. But LPF is like this huge portion of my life now and sometimes I feel like no one knows all of me because they really don't know about LPF. lol but I like it better this way anyways. I wouldn't think I'd like it if everyone knows everything about me. It's like what Mike said, all the guys in the band's gotta have something that they do on their own, without the band. For him it's his paintings. So from all the people you go through life with to spend all your time together doing whatever you do in life, you've gotta still reserve a part of you that you don't share with everyone. It's just for, lol I guess, self protection. Because if you put all of yourself into something, or some people, then once they're lost, you're lost. Know what I mean?

Yeah I guess it's just how a lot of parents sometimes stereotype a lot of things about the people in the younger generation. And I guess it's unchangeable. As time change, things and conditions will change. And there just are things that a lot of people wouldn't be able to accept, however open minded they are. I guess my parents are actually okay, in terms of that. But I mean maybe it's just because I'm a pretty traditionally "good" girl. L.O.L. And they don't actually know how much I adore LP and Mike lol (When I ordered the Mike Shinoda art book I told them that he was an "artist" and I liked his stuff. And they know how I'm kinda into that kinda things so they were like sure. But I wonder what would have happened if I told them that I adored the guy himself. xD lmao)

And yeah, I guess LP will return again. I'm pretty high in hopes for that. I think not going this time wasn't actually that horrific of a thing, because they'll probably come back after a few years (I remember Mike in LPMB saying something like they don't go to Canada enough... ) and I'll be older anyways. (So my parents won't think I'd DIE at a concert or something) And besides, it's always nice to have things to wait for. To have like this desire in your life is always good.

Hahahaha... oh, please, my mom isnt a monster (although she's great to guess in what you think. I think she studied at Hogwarts, 'cos I've never known someone who can guess things as she does. I told her thousands and thousands of times: Mum, please, I give you two options: or you send your CV to the CIA or for the next time, try to guess lottery's numbers!! You think is great to have a mom like her but what about when you had to do some duties at home and you didnt do them? How can you deceive someone who "read your mind"?? IM-PO-SSI-BLE!!

 

But she is great, anyway. We've lot of fun toguether and we have talk about everything... boys, university, sex, movies, own experiences (she told me stories about her boyfriends!! :lol: ) books, George Clooney music... well, not too much about music 'cos we've different styles and we always finish with an arguing.. We prefer to talk about politics

I can talk about music with my father ... Last time LP have been here, I couldnt go cause I didnt have enough money, but even if I had, my mother hardly woud let me go... That's why I'm thinking about running away from home next time!!! I know it's crazy but cmon!! I'm 20!! I cant stand these kind of things.

The problem is that she doesnt imagine how much I love and worship these guys! When she looks at my posters on my wall, my cd's, my LP shirt, my PC desktop my almost 2500 LP pics.. she thinks I am crazy or something!

That's why I try not to talk too much about this with her, cause she doesnt undestand. But what she doesnt even imagine is that I think about running away from home just to see them (although I have the bad luck of living far from Lisbon where LP always do their shows )

 

Ohh, besides that, my mum is that kind of person who doesnt consider hip hop/rap as music... it means she cant stand Mike's rapping!! Like, when we are in the car or something I cant put any LP or FM cd on, it drives her crazy!! But I don't care, cause when I want, I listen to them very loud on my room and she doesnt say nothing.

 

but well, after all this shit, I think she's getting used to LP, cause the day they were on Live Earth, she woke m up and said "Wake up, your favourite band is on the radio." (She doesnt even know the band's name, but she can recognise some of their songs like Numb, BTH, ITE, etc.)

It would be great if my mum could read minds, 'cos she could guess lots of thing for the future, and maybe, if it was like this, nowadays I wouldnt live here, in Algeciras, just in front of Africa. I would live somewhere else.... maybe in Los Angeles (where LP's boys live) or maybe in Vienna, the musicians's city!! But unfortunately my mom isnt a great witch, so she cannot guess the lottery (not yet. I dont lose the hope than one day Mike can be my neighbour :lol: ... Oh, dont worry, I'dinvite you to "my home" all weekends... you know, parties all the time!!:party: but, for now, you've to wait!!!:'(

 

hahahha, well, I was kidding (although, who knows?) but if my mom can guess what I think (sometimes, not always. My face can be a opened book.. but I keep my secrets too) is 'cos she knows me quite well. I've lots of confidence in her and we talk about everything without being afraid... so, well, if LP plays one day here or in Portugal (in that case, my funny angel I HOPE YOU WAIT ME!!!) my mom wouldnt be a problem. It can be others (and I dont want to think on them... :no:) but not her. Besides, I think that at the end, she'll likes LP (at least, I got it with FM. They enjoy listening "Where'd you go" and "Believe me") and well, they really like "What I've done", so I think I'm developing my mission quite well.... do you want to know the trick? You've to be a little bit strategic. Look at them, analyze them. You've to start gradually 'cos if you start with "Faint", you "kill" them definitively. So, I started with "What I've done" (and, I showed them the vid when I saw they have consumed it ) then, I Continued with "Pushing me Away" and "In the end"... and believe me, my great mates, it has worked!! Today I went to do some shopping with them and we're listening a spanish pop band and suddenly my mom MY MOM!!! Yes, the woman who hates all the music that has a relation with heavy (ejem, she likes rock... thanks God!!) said:

My parents listened to MTM on the car because you know how I've been during those times it came out. ^^ And they were like what kind of music is it that makes you like it so much anyways? lol So we played it on the car and they just kinda listened. At the end my mom was like "You know, they're actually some pretty intricate parts in there." And i was like wheeeeeeee.... (Cuz now my parents get the impression that I'm in love with an MTM styled band. Which is a lot, I guess, softer than Hybrid Theory or Meteora and it'd be easier to convince them into going to concerts and stuff :O yes i plan ahead...) And then my mom said "Well maybe except the part where he screams."

 

Okay well at least they respected my passion. :] Which in their eyes, not very much. I think they only see like 1/8 of the love I have for LP. xD

 

Anyways...

hahaha... Oh, dear, LP~Shinoda~FM you're great!! SakuraUchiha says she cracks her up with my comments (and I'm glad of this. I love that everybody have fun with me... although it doesnt mean I'm a foolish clown... well, if you pay me a nice account, maybe we can do some business... hahaha, I was kidding!!) but, well, you're in a good way with your parents 8P . At least, they've listened MTM. You're more advanced that me about this topic... I darent put them the full album... not yet, at least. My steps are little, gradually.... besides, it's ridiculous to let them listen "Behind your lies" and "Given Up", even so, when my mom is fed up of "ACDC". My dad and me love them!!! You should see us dancing "Highway to hell" to the higher volume when we do "Shambles of combat" on Saturdays... I mean, to clean and tidy up the whole house!! My dad is a genius playing the broom... and I'm an expert maid-dancer! and well, my mom improves Chester's shouts when she cant stand more: Switch off this horrible music!!

 

So, you see. It's great that you've got this with your parents.... Today, they've listened "Somewhere I belong"... and all I had was silence. Not criticizes (ufff) not praises... yet , but you're totally right. The most important thing is the respect. So, I'll respect them if they say me they dont like LP and I know they'll respect me if I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE LP. Besides I'm 21 (:'( ), They've to let me go to one of their shows. Even more, If I didnt have any problem for going to a rock and heavy festival for four days one year ago (it was the maddest reality I've ever lived.. but this is another chapter).... this opportunity is done so... LP, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING TO COME HERE??

About the pics, well, do you need any comment? All of them are great, marvellous and the last one was soooo sweet!!! Oh, God, he doesnt seem the same boy, but actually all them've changed a little bit.

Mike's always changing his looks. Thanks to that, we have the opportunity to look back and through all these Shinoda Eras and sigh at every single one of them :rofl:

 

I remember when my mom heard Hybrid Theory (well the first like 1.3 tracks of it anyways) I remember she wasn't exactly amused with Papercut, and she started talking about how it isn't real music because they're all like computer generated. OSC started playing and she was kinda irritated by Chester's voice. (However impossible that maybe sound ) And she just turned it off... RIGHT before his first scream. So from then I was kinda not into letting them listen to LP lol But then after MTM I guess because of their transformation my parents are accepting them better. (I doubt they know it's the same band. hehe)

Because I've learned that if we expose to many pictures of our saintly Mike, then it can get VERY overwhelming and may cause some internal bleeding, external bleeding (from the nose), and slight mind damage. Because us mortal ones (or mortalized angels lol) are quite fragile and may be easily damaged by such omnipotent material.

Btw, your parent's story is soo funny. You craked me up!!! Sometimes you remind me quite a lot!! Do you know something? Yesterday my mom listened "Given Up". It can seem incredible but it's true... it was so funny, even so, I'm still wondering why I'm not in the dentist with my jaw totally dislocated!!! We were walking quickly (doing some sport as everyday) when she told me:

-Do you have your mp3 here, dear?

-Yes, mom, but it's useless. You dont like the music I've in it, sure...

-Let me try...

-No, mom. Believe me. You wont like them- I insisted 'cos I know she doesnt like this kind of music. Even in dreams, I dont imagine my mom dancing "System of a down".

-Let me try (I understand know why I'm a little bit stubborn. The genetic doesnt fail!!)

 

So, I lent it to her, just ready to listen "Given Up" (Didnt she want to listen my music???)... her reaction:

1- with the keys' sound.... wow, that's flamenco, olee!!-----------------------} me: einnnhhh???

2- with the song running....wow, that's great for running... it has force--------------------------} me (thinking): Will she like this kind of music at the end? will she be a heavy metal mother?

3-Chester's shout.... uff, that's a huge shout. it's too heavy for me--------------------} me (after a short deduction): Not, definitevely, she wont be a heavy metal mother...

 

And honestly, I prefer her as she is actually. A classic mom who likes "Il Divo" ,pop music, latine music and classic rock but not more about "strong music"(I like too, but from my part I need more rock'n heavy metal power ... Ainss, that's my dad and his genetic!!)

P.S. Tomorrow, if I've time I'll post another story. If I'm honest I'm not satisfied with the last result although I tried to put my best in it, but I hope you like it anyway, although this one is quite different. it's not a love story... but, well, you know, I admit all kind of criticizes (and tomatoes too.
