Life After Death?

Has anyone ever thought about what happens when we die? I know I have, I often ponder the possibilities. I guess I believe that we go to some sort of 'afterlife'.. call it stupid but hey. I'm not religious and have no real beliefs in anything like that, so I can't go with that... I think I watch too many paranormal programs lol. But I definatly believe that when we die its not, 'the end', or whatever... anyway, feel free to discuss and put forward your views on this.

im really confused about it, im a catholic so i should believe in heaven, but if their is a heaven how come people feel their dead family memebers visiting them in their time of need

and if there is a hell how come things like the exorcist are real?

 

 

AND, if theres a heaven and hell how are their people that have been reincarnated...really confusing..oh well..i dont really know what to believe anymore...

Dont cry Grammy.... okay im am gonna re-word what i said. *clears throat* I belive that there is nothing beyond death. When you die, you die- you dont float to some mystical place full of clouds or fire, you just decompose and end up being forgotten by people you never knew.

i think that when you die to take a form of an animal and go in a garden and you meet all your friends and families and even your pets. you can choose to be re-born if you want. The garden is amazing like something out of a midsummer nights dream, but more beautiful.

i don't believe that you are punished in death. you're punished with the pain of life and everything you have to live through. and in life you are punished for your wrong doings by your conscience.

I really don't know what to believe happens after death. I was raised Catholic, but I really only follow my personal beliefs. I think about it sometimes and always come to the conclusion that I have no idea.

I believe when you die its only suffering, if you go to hell that is. (I read the bible) Yes, it's weird, i know. But from what i've read...>_> Not very many people have a chance in going to heaven. If there is such thing. But all i know if you go to hell its supposed to be very painful.

I dont believe in Hell because aparantly if you kill yourself you go to Hell but i dont believe that because my friend tried to kill himself and he was really messed up and thought that was the only way out and if there is a God he would have seen what my friend was going through and wouldnt have let him go to Hell.

So i guess what im saying is i'm not sure what i think happens when you die but i deffinately dont believe in Hell.

I'm gonna shut up now because whenever i think about this i just confuse myself and just ramble on lol.

Im not sure myself. Half of me thinks that you just disapear and are no more. But the other part...well...has anybody seen the movie What Dreams May Come? well I also belive in something like that. Like each person has his if her own heaven, like something thats special to them. For example, in the movie, the guy dies, and his heaven is in his wifes paintings. But...I really dont know, I think I belive the first more than the second. I just find it hard to belive that we could still exist after we die, in like some alternate universe or something. But I guess we might never know until the time actually comes.

i think theres nothing more when u die. i mean how can your spirit or soul or whatever it is just float up to the wonderland in the sky? where u can eat and not get fat and just have fun generally. maybe heavens in a space station somewhere in space...

Heaven is a spiritual place , you can`t really tell anything about it because nobody saw it . I think that we must be pacient for the next 60 years , eventually we will find out the whole mistery of GOD and Satan & Co.

 

Maybe some of us will make a LP forum in Heaven .
