this is kinda ironic but take it as you will...

seeing how the Petrified was "released" just around the time of Katrina in New Orleans, i was thinking in history class today....read the lyrics

Why is everybody so petrified, petrified, step aside

And just drop that, c’mon, drop that, c’mon, drop that, c’mon, drop that, c’mon

>>>>

-thats like all the panic in new orleans and people tryin to evacuate

1. Listen you are not ready,

2. Like children in a building you cant stand steady

It must be the beats so heavy

3. Cause the panic attack like a crack in the levee

>>>>

-1. George Bush was in no shape to handle a massacre hurricane like this one

-2. all the people were shipped to the superdome and were very worried

-3.and literally there was a crack in the levee after the high waters

just thought that was intersting let me know what you think

Doesn't matter, Mike could have changed the lyrics.

But if I remember right I heard those lyrics before Katrina hit.

Yes, when I heard that line with "levee" in it... I was immediatly reminded of Katrina, considering my aunt and a few cousins live, or rather, lived in New Orleans. However, even thought the lyircs suggest it, I don't beleive there is a direct connection between the events in New Orleans and the song... lol, sorry if I sounded a bit like a scholar there or something, lol. :p

Same in here,I don´t think the song is related to Katrina´s hurricane but still it was a good thinking tho

I love to say fuck when I'm driving in my car

Fuck when I'm walking in the fucking park

I love to say fuck every fucking day

Other then the fact the song was written, recorded and performed months/weeks before the disaster doesnt throw off your theory?
