The Tears of Clouds, and The Lonliness of it All.

[Shadowed Heart]

I’m feeling so lonely,

As I sit here and eat my bologna.

But it’s gone now,

So I eat my M&M’s and feel like a fat cow.

I pick up the phone, and let it ring [ring],

I hang up, because my presence in your life is an unwelcome thing.

And something wonderful happens; the rain begins to come down

And covers our streets in a sparkly crown.

I’ve been waiting for hours, but you still haven’t came

I think of you and your perfection, but it’s just not the same.

The door bell rings, if it’s you… then this miserable night is fair.

But I open the door, and nothing is there.

So I see my fear…

And I shed too many tears.

I collapse on the porch, and I fall apart and weep.

Even more tears, down my face they creep.

I crawl back inside, and curl up in my corner.

And I put my face in the pink and blue boarder.

The door bell rings again, and I tear it out of the frame.

And to see what is there is more than just a shame.

My heart begins to slow, why is there nothing again?

I now realize how foolish I’ve been.

I shut my eyes tight, and scream out in hope,

But it is something which with… I’ll just have to cope.

What have I done? I guess I’m failing again.

Because, yet again, you’re stabbing my heart with a pin.

I open my eyes.

But life is a stolen car, and I’m just along for the ride.

Even though I should stop trying, I need to say this… it’s something I need to do.

I love you.

I like it!! Although the ending isn't what I expected it to be...kinda dissapointing, but who am I to say that. Seriously...I really like it. DUDE! You had the word "M&M's" in a poem! How can that NOT be cool, huh?! lol
