Chester Chaz00 : Dark Green

Mr Bobo: Teal

Growing up what were you like as a kid, good kid or a bad one?

I was a quiet kid, but I was bad at times. I used to fight alot in school until the 7th grade

Now you were born in New York but moved to California, you say in you Biography on your site that at that time Latin Music was in, how do you think this made you want to get into music?

Music is in my blood. My dad was very influential to me and I had the opportunity to meet alot of the Latin and Jazz greats of our time, but I still was listening to what my friends were listening to. I listened to it all.

With you playing Music with your father but not being able to read sheets was it hard to learn by ear?

no, but I learned how to read music later.

Did you have any influences growing up playing music?

there are too many to count really

You Lost you farther in 1983 at the age of 15, how was this for you and how do you think it affected your music?

Some people say the best music comes from pain and hurt, so I would say that it made me more determined to make it in the music industry and to fulfill my destiny.

You got the call from Adam from the beastie boys to play at his wedding, what was this like for you?

I never thought that I would ever play at a wedding, but look at what playing at a wedding got me. HAHAHAHA.

How did things start for you with Cypress Hill?

well, CH was opening up for the B-Boys on the Check Your Head tour in 1992. We started hangin out and talked about me jamming with them. They never used percussion before, but I knew it would work.

What was it like on stage at Woodstock 94?

A tremendous experience that I will never forget. I fulfilled my dream of performing to a sea of people. After our show, we went out walking in the crowd. It was amazing.

Had you worked with Mike or the rest of Linkin Park before?

Other than the tour that we did with each other in 2002, no, but I would hang out alot with Chester and Mike and I always saw each other at various functions. We maintained a friendship after that tour.

I saw a sign were you opened for Xero, which featured some members of Linkin Park, were you with cypress hill then?

I think that was Sen-Dog and his group SX-10 that did that

How many songs are you featured in on the rising tied?

I haven't seen the song list, but I am featured on Believe Me. We did a couple of more in the studio, but those might be bonus tracks

Jay-Z is executive producing Fort Minor did you meet him whilst in the studio and what was that like for you?

I've met Jay before but he wasn't in the studio when I was recording. It was just me and Mike.

What are your hopes for this album and what do you hope to get out of it?

Besides exposure, I hope that this album does well, which I think it will be. I'm just glad to be apart of it.

Do you have anything planned in the future with Mike or the rest of Linkin park?

Yes I do. Me and Chester have talked about doing something together and Mike and I will probably do more stuff too.

On the Fort Minor US Tour do you guys think you will come up to Canada and down to Mexico for any shows?

of course, anything is possible.

Now you have probably worked with lots of people of the past years can you honestly say who was your favorite artist to work with?

Wow, that's a tough one. I think the jury is out on who is my favorite but I've enjoyed working with the Beasties, CH, The Black Crowes, 311, and FM.

Have you ever visited Linkinparkforums.com? if so what did you think of it?

I did some time back.

I liked it.

This interview was set up through the Fort Minor Forums and conducted on AIM, for all those paranoid non believes Hahninator is my proof

Mr Bobo joined Cypress Hill in 1994 or 95 as they where planning for more of a rocky sound. Must say he did an awesome job for them and should do an awesome job for Fort Minor. The fact he has been in 2 rap groups that have sold over 30million albums between them shows he has got a great CV.

Delete my account, the is no reason why it should be against standard procediure, do it do it do it.

Or LPF Sessions 3 leaks before it's done and Spoilers will be posted for every film release. Not to mention periodic troll invasions.
