Okay...being elite we want to promote this site as being a united, informative and fun place to be and all that shit. So why is it that most elites bag out noobs for asking "dumb" questions?

 

I know I have done it a few times and same with eveyone else, we aren't perfect. But, it just seems if you're not "in" you're bagged out if you do the slightest bit of spam or a repeat thread. But then others who are "in" never get bagged out because of it.

 

Comments like " dumb n00b", "do your reseach before you make dumb threads like this" and the such aren't really a polite welcome. And, I mean isn't the point of LPF to inform people of what's going on?

 

I mean it's perfectly fine to redirect them to a different thread or the Newbie guide thiggo...but half the time someone just goes in the thread and bags the person out and leave without actually providing them with anything.

I've never bagged out a noob, but I've directed them in the right direction like you said. I try my best not to spam and be impolite, lol.

 

The noobs should read the rules first though... unless they are so noobish that they didn't think to look. Haha. I myself never posted in the New Member Introduction, though I wish I did.

They are noobs, a portion of them will never read the rules and they will ask dumb questions, its a fact of life. I do see noobs getting 'bagged' on alot on here by various members, but to my direct knowledge it is usually the blue people who do the 'bagging'.

 

I just try to help them when they need it.

To tell you the truth, I didn't really read the rules when I first came here. Couldn't be bothered:D I read them like a couple of months later though:).

 

I feel sorry for them, and I do agree that some members are sometimes mean when they post. I do try and help them if they really need it, the mods do a good job at that though so it's all good. Being new to a forum and all, it might be different to them:D It's adorable, I'm all like "bless them" but you really gotta distinguish whether it's no0b behaviour, or just plain stupidty sometimes.
