Serenity. Even in this desert of sci-fi entertainment, we will sometimes find an oasis. And Serenity (no pun intended) is that oasis...and thats why it gets my vote.

It may not be the absolute best movie on the list, but it helped remind all of us that science fiction is NOT dead.
