My Version of our LPF family!

It was almost daybreak when Mel finally turned back into her human form, she looked up to me as she lay on the floor, and growing new skin must’ve been incredibly painful. She screamed out in pain as I was testing out my new skills and senses by climbing up a wall. Rob was still in his human form, and tried to comfort his daughter. “Don’t worry Mel, it will only hurt for a while, then you’ll get used to it.” His attempts failed miserably. Chester was watching me carefully as I messed around with shadows on the wall. “Hey dad, aren’t I suppose to like hide in the sunlight?” I asked as the sun rose to the east. Chester laughed another wicked laugh. “No hun, the sun doesn’t hurt us like those stories the mortals make up. We can play out in the sun all we want; it just hurts our eyes a little. Here, consider this your welcoming present.” He threw some dark sunglasses to me, they were falling short so I sprang from my position from the wall and caught them before they were a foot from the floor. “Good catch. I think you are going to be a great vampire. You are getting used to your new senses very well.” My father said. I looked over to my sister. She was still rolling in pain as the last of the fur fell off and the skin grew to replace it. “Mel, I’m here for you Mel.” I said, trying to comfort her. She let out a howl the eventually turned into a human scream. She was panting, “Thanks sis. You’re a big help.” I leaned down to give her a hand to get up with. She grabbed on and heaved herself up. I looked to my dad and my step-father, “So what the hell are we suppose to do now?” I asked them both. “Well, Fox, Mel. There is a funny thing about you two turning now. There is a vampire and werewolf gathering in about two weeks. You both are required to attend.” Said Rob, Chester lowered his head. It looked as if he was refusing to look me in the eye. “Dad, what’s wrong? Look at me!” I said in frustration. He looked up at me, “Fox, do you hear that?” he asked darkly. I turned my head to hone my sense of hearing better; I heard a soft rhythmic thump. “What is that?” I asked. “That, my daughter, is the sound of a humans’ heart beat. Get used to that sound. You’ll learn to love it.” He said, evilly.

Ohhh, me likes. Chas as a vampire... v---v Gotta love it! But poor Mel... how she suffers! The rhythm of the human heart... can't imagine what that must be like. Frightening I'd say. I'm so seeing an Underworld/QoTD/WW in London?LP crossover here that I can't wait for more. Just a question though... where's the rest of the family in this?

Are Sarah and Viking also WW like their dad (genetically) or... I'm assuming Ravyn is mortal so maybe they take after her? Anyway... need... answers there if we could. Thankies.

The thought of a mortal breeding with a WW AND a Vampire? Talk about questionable taste in men! XD

Anyway... don't wanna sound perverse (what else is new) but wondering HOW that's actually possible. And it kinda surprises me that during all of this neither Rob nor Chas were like 'ah bugger it' and converted the rest of them anyway to make life easier, save all the cloak and dagger stuff. I get the impression the changes seem to be controlled though, they can't run off munching people all willy-nilly, so someone's overseeing all this. I'm sure they have their reasons.

Anyway, can't wait for more, as per usual. Thought our family was weird before... man... 0_0

A few days later I returned to Robs’ house with Mel. Chas wanted to come too, but I told him that it was a bad idea since my mom was there. When Mel, Rob, and me walked into the house, we saw that my mom was asleep over paperwork on the counter; Sarah and Vi were asleep on the couch. My sister spoke first, loudly so everyone could hear. “Hey guys! We are home!” Rav jolted awake from the loudness of Mels’ voice. She looked around for a minute, trying to figure out where the noise came from. Then her eyes stopped at the front door where we stood. “Hey babe. We are back. All of us. Safe and sound.” Said my stepfather, walking over to give Rav a hug. She hugged him and looked over his shoulder at us. She was crying. “Hun, what’s wrong?” I heard him whisper. She looked at him and said loud enough for us all to hear. “I’m just happy everyone is okay and back here together.” Both Mel and me rushed over to give our mom a hug. She was still crying tears of joy when Vi and Sarah woke up. Vi dragged his feet while he walked into the kitchen area and gave Mel a noogie. “Welcome back trouble makers.” He said groggily. Rav looked at Mel and me and gasped. She looked back at Rob, “Did it happen?” she asked. Rob looked at us then looked down and gave a weary nod. Rav gasped again. Vi and Sarah looked around us, I’m assuming that they didn’t know what was going on because they just stood there, trying to understand what mom was so upset about. “Vi, Sarah, go to your rooms. Now.” Said my mother. Sarah obeyed while Vi protested. “What! I’m the oldest one here! Why does Mel and Fox get to stay and I have to go to my room? I’m the most responsible! This isn’t fair!” Rob looked at his son. “Vi, I’ll explain everything to you later, but for now, please obey your mother.” Vi turned around and stomped off to his room. Rob turned to his wife and us. “Now, Rav, you know what I am correct?” she nodded. “Then you also must know this. Mel is a werewolf like me, but Fox. Well. Fox is like her dad in more than a few ways. She is a vampire.” Rav looked at us with the same loving eyes. I heard her heart beat faster and faster. “Mum, calm down, your heat is going crazy.” I muttered. Rob laughed. “Oh, and Fox is trying to get used to her new abilities and Mel is having a hard time trying to get used to her keen sense of hearing and smell.” He said as Mel rubbed her nose. Rav almost laughed. She looked a little bit nervous but still the same at the same time. “Wait, mum, you knew that Rob was a werewolf when you married him?” Mel asked.

I'm glad for the update - was starting to feel alone out here... without a sense of closure. I need answers damn it, and now I finally have a few! 0_0 Rav knew?!? Holy hell! She took it rather calmly so I'm guessing that they must have been anticipating this at some point... but how on earth does one plan for that let alone explain it to the rest of one's children?!?

*gasp*

Anyway, glad you updated. Yeah, sucks you can't get on the comp more but I'm sure things will work themselves out in the long run. Thanks again, and as always can't wait for more!

Okay guys, I have more to share! Oh, and there is a new way of writing in the story for me so tell me how you all like it!!!! :thumbsup:

Rav looked at each of us in turn, “Yes, I knew what he was. I still found that I loved him no matter what he was.” Mel turned to her father and asked, “So, how are we suppose to tell Sarah and Vi what we are? I mean, this isn’t a matter that they are gonna take lightly.” Rob took off his baseball cap and scratched his head. “Well, I don’t know if we should tell them right away. Lets wait and see if they notice anything. If they do, THEN we’ll tell them.” I looked at my stepfather in a new way, he and I were sort of alike now, and we both have something to hide. I nodded my head. I would act like my normal self around my siblings and I’ve decided that I would fight with Rob like I would on any other day. Rav looked at me, “Fox, try not to get into fights with anyone anymore. Now that you are… more like Chester than I ever wanted you might hurt somebody that you didn’t want to. Now go to your room, both of you.” Mel hugged her father and gave our mother a kiss goodnight. I looked at Rob, and for some reason I felt like he was getting closer to me. I didn’t want that to happen, I had a father; I didn’t want Rob to take over his place. “Goodnight jerk. Night mom,” is all that I said to them, and stalked off to my room to play music. As I strode to my room, I heard Rob sigh and my mom shook her head. I got to my room and blasted some music and waited for a few minutes. After I was sure that they weren’t going to bust down my door, I climbed out of my window and landed with a ‘swish’ of my coat on the cement by the pool. I walked about a block away till I found where I hid my bike. I wasn’t going to stay in that house; I couldn’t handle it. Not anymore. I started my bike when there was a shriek from down the block where Robs’ huge house stood. I knew it was my mom. I had to get out of here and fast. I sped off to the city. I could hide there.

 

~~The Next Day at Chester’s house~~

 

Chester woke up with a headache and tried to remember what had happened to make it so that he woke up on the kitchen table. He was hung over and thirsty. He suddenly remembered that his only daughter, Fox, had turned into a vampire like he was. He had to admit, he was proud of her. She had put up with Rob for sixteen years. He stood up and held his head; it was pounding. The phone ringing didn’t really help his thumping head. He dragged himself over to the phone and answered, “This better be important.” He heard panting in the background. “Chaz, it’s Rob. Listen, Fox is missing, she ran off again. She is nowhere to be found. Vi even checked where her band practices but nobody has seen her. Have you seen her?” Chester was stunned. His daughter was missing and he had to find her. “No, I haven’t. I’ll go out looking in the city though.” He answered. “Thanks Chester. Even though you are her father, I still worry. I’ll get the guys to help too.” He hung up the phone and attempted to get his head straight. He had to find Fox, no matter what. He got his keys and went to the garage. He was gonna find her if it was the last thing he did. “Oh shit, I am worrying. Damnit. I’ve turned to a full fledge parent.” He said to himself as he got into his car and drove off to the city.

It's always amazed me with all of the stories how Chas and Rob in particular manage to deal with their everyday lives with this big sort of emotional tug-of-war going on (regarding Fox) yet they still remain the closest of friends depite it. I guess being in a band and the fact they're in the public eye a fair bit means they'd have to sort of 'get over it' at some point, but still... can't be an easy thing to deal with. Having two fathers; one who isn't really but seems badly enough to want to be (or thinks he is entitled to be) and one who is but still isn't terribly used to the idea; must make for interesting conversations around the family dinner table. Not that they'd be using that much anymore, right? *laughs* Poor Fox, man she's got it bad.

But nice update. Can't wait to see what happens.
