NYAH Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Absoultely distinctive sound, you can't say their is anyone who sounds like them. They blend rock and hip-hop perfectly, which probably helped their rise to the top Quote

Clogz Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 How they took good elements from the genres of rap, techno, and rock and turned them into a new type of rock 'n roll, and adding meaningful lyrics to boot. I would have to say, in the light of this, that the thing that drew me in was thier fearless creativity and experimentation. IceBlue666 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 I think mainly the rock and the hardcore lyrics and their unic approach to music Quote
LP186 Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 it was the lyrics for me the music came after, but it wasnt untill i heard Papercut, i thought this is such a good band Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/9b1d0afefd59e62cbc922a85528ba928.jpg Strength For Now, Nothing Later
LPGotLinkinPark Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 The rock side of it. It was something very different from the any other band at the time they first came out. I actually didn't even realise it was at all hip-hop for a long time. But um.....yeah the rock part definately their guitar riffs & lyrics. Quote rep me!! | xanga | add me on myspace
Jacx Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Definetly the rock. Never really liked any hip-hop till they blended it in. I really liked it, when i first heard them i fell in love with the vocals which were main rock element in LP.
