Wow, I know how that goes. Growing up in the south, i've seen a lot of this. One of my friend's dad did a thing to talk to young black guys about how they really shouldn't say it because of what it means to some people.....That was funny when he was all like "I say nigg-a." lol He's so white. But he thinks he knows so much. He doen't understand that generally only black people can call eachother niggas and it not be offensive.

Its because its like any insulting/offensive/racist word. Its kinda hard to describe, but basically no one can get mad if someone is insulting themself.

 

Like if you call someone stupid, then theyll get insulted.

you know, it's ok when black people call us white and "crackas".. but when we say "a black person" or something.. they get all offended. and they get a whole freaking month devoted to their race's history.. we dont get white history month. and of course they say it's because all of history is comprised of mostly white people. well.. ok, so i'm not saying what i really would like to say because most would take it really offensive.. so whatever. they just need to chill and get off our damn nuts.

Irish what you say is in a manner correct. However though, I hate it when people say this. It isnt all right for black people to call white people "crackas". Whenever they do that their just as racist as the white people who call black people "******s". And their is some argument recently as to wheter jesus was black or maybe middle eastern. So they dont have it so bad. Hell i saw something that traces the roots of civilaztion to Africa, so theirs the entire course of history. What people need to do is stop giving into soceity and start thinking for themselves.

From what I've seen, black people tend to be the most racist of all. They're the ones that seperate themselves and take offense to every little thing. Maybe back in the 50s it would have meant something, but now I think that all the black people that complain, just want something to complain about.

From my prespective of all of this, because I'm half-black and half-white. It's all right to say "nigga" but not "******" Which is stupid, but I'll get mad if a black person called me that anyway, because you're calling me ignorant the real meaning of the word. So, anyone in a way you can use that word, because it means ignorant. However, if you noticed its basically the new generation who uses the word nigga, the only reason they are doing that is because they using history as an excuse for their own faults, but don't say all black people, because a lot would agree with me.

 

I hope people see my point though that's just how I see it.

 

P.S. I'm use to teachers call us names anyway... last thing one of our teachers told us was thall all her students were dumbass bitches. But you don't see her in the news know do you.

wow, i dont know how to respond to the teacher dropping it, but i do have to say this, Practally(sp?) half of the kids in my school, maybe more, say it um-teen-million times a day, and its annoying really. But thats just me. Anywho, yea, thats about all i have to say on this topic cause its just, erm, not my type of thing.

Black History Month is a joke. I have no disrespect for black people, they are just as good as anyone else, but just because they were enslaved for a long time, dosent mean they should get a whole month dedicated to them.
