Best Downloading Program?

Asking which program is the best is like asking what TV show is the best.

 

Newsgroups are the fastest. The best way to access them is to pay for news server access. But most ISP's offer free access. The free access is still amazingly fast. Just go to your ISP's website and search for "Newsgroups".

 

BitTorrent is 2nd fastest. Finding torrents is easy enough, deciding on which torrent client to use is the hard part. I use uTorrent.

 

After Newsgroups and BitTorrent, all other filesharing methods are about the same speed. 10-40KB on a good connection.

 

The biggest network is ED2K. The best way to access the ED2K network is with eMule.

 

The 2nd biggest is Fasttrack. But Fasttrack sucks. That the network used by KAzaa. Its full of fake files.

 

Gnutella is the 3rd biggest network. Its good, fast and clean. It's the network LimeWire uses.
