This is a great band.

 

I can actually sing their music (haven't had time to learn all of the words, but, i can hum to it, and oo to it, on key, in the right octave....

 

They're like Coldplay.... as in, they're brit rock, i guess, you could call it.

 

I saw them on SNL once.

 

And then I went and bought the CD.

 

Really cool band - Piano, Guitar, abdomenal singer, that has a really good falsetto.

 

Great great great production. oh my goodness, that's like, the best engineering I've ever heard in my life.

They're alright, to me I guess. Not something I listen to, really, but nothing I don't like.

 

What I don't get is why people were dissing them for not having a guitar in their songs...heard there was this supposed beef between them and Razorlight and a few other bands with music like Razorlight, mostly hostility from Razorlight though, I heard.

I mean credit to them, for being that unique.

I don't know jack about producing or engineering, but, well, they have a nice sound.

I guess they're just not my type of music. As Matt said, they're kinda just average, to me.

I love "Hopes & Fears". It's a great album. I havent listened to it in ages though...
