today i got sent to the school counselor for being neagative but WATEVER. anyways, is it allowed to refuse to go for couselling? or just skip totally?

You should be able to skip it.

You don't have to go. Not like your parents would freak out and send you off to military school or something for not going.

I think you should just go, see what they have to say and voice your opinion about yourself. It will only make them more concerned if you skip it.

Being negative? WTF! People say I'm negative, but I've never been to a councelor. I don't consider it negative, I consider it realist. Positive people piss me off, get a damn dose of reality positive people.

I say u should just go as it can help find any negative attitudes you have.

 

But its up to you wheter or not you go but of course refusing to go to counciler could signal to the school that you have nothing wrong with you and your just being a pain *shrugs* this could lead to further discipline.

and i skipped today, and the counselor called me up and asked me why i didnt go, and i said i forgot. But i wrote an email to my teacher to ask her her reasons for sending me to the counselor and that i sould be given an option as to wether i would go or not.

 

Not to mention, Im so much happier now, everybody said im like a lot more positive and fun to be with...I can tell the difference in myself, so i cant find a reason as to why she would say these things

My Science teacher, who graduated from Missouri State University with a Degree in Science, told my mother in a Parent Teacher Conference that I had a stronger grasp of some concepts than she did.

 

And an English Teacher once told me that I was wise beyond my years (quote: "You are wise beyond your years, possibly even beyond mine.")

 

So either I'm really fu- darn smart, or they're really dumb. I'm going to go for the 'really dumb' part.

 

Although, as evidence for the former, I have studied college level Biology of my own accord.... I think that just makes me a Biology geek. lol

If they had sent me to therapy every time I was negative or had other 'bad' thoughts.. I'd be stuck in such places for the rest of my life, You should be able to refuse, they can't help you if you don't want it anyway, so it'd be pointless.

Thats great. At least you school couselor liked you. Me and my sister had the same one ( I graduated in 2001 by the way) and he hated me for some reason. One day I asked him about taking the S.A.T's and he told me that if I took them that I would lower the national average, whatever that meant.

I did complain and nothing ever came of it. It was my word against his and the school was more likely to believe him over me. It happened I got over it and just forgot about the incident. The only thing he did was make me mad,anyway. Btw, I graduated back in 2001.

I just made myself antisocial again - damn that counselor.. what a bitch.(you said she a few times but also him >.<)

 

btw, Grats Crimson! sessions suck
