i saw it the day it came out. it was really good but i don't think it was as good as the first one..

The film broke box office records. I read in USA Today that the movie broke the records for Best Opening Day (55M!) and Best Opening weekend (132M!).

I snuck in to see it.

And, it disappointed me a bit.

Don't get me wrong, Kiera Knightley {sp} is hecka fine.

But I mean, it was a lot like the first one in my opinion.

Pretty much the same script with some mad lib.

"Hide the rum" "the rum?!"

Instead of the bad guys being ghost pirates, they're fish pirates.

Instead of Jack doing random shit to get away from the brit's, they have that random ass fight on the wheel.

And the whole.. psychic thing.. that was only there to make the story make sense really.

And I liked Davey Jones. Just because the guy who played him was the same guy that played Viktor in Underworld. It was great.

 

i'd give the movie a 7/10

It was alright. I didn't like Davey Jones because he looked too much like Cthulu.

It was just a 2 & a half hour trailer though...

I saw it and i LOVED it.... Even tho Johnny dosnt take off his shirt...(yet) i still loved it. For those who wanna know....The third movie was shot WITH the first one and is going to be released next summer, *dang* so we all have to make due with posters and watch the movies like crazy, till it comes out.

 

Johnny Depp is awesome as normal, and does a simply BRILLIANT job as CAPTIAN Jack Sparrow again, Orlando is good (eh) and Kiera is also prutty good.

I saw it the other night. I really liked it. The sword fights, the sarcasm, the kiss, the everlasting backstabbing. It was all magical (lol). I want to go see it again. The only thing I hated [because I want to KNOW SO BADLY] was Johnny Depp's last scene... errrrrrrrr.... but I loved it anyway... The movie rocks!

I thought it was pretty good. Commador Norrington got hott (please don't attack me for that). Kind of weak plot, I did like the wheel fight though.

Saw it last Friday, loved it.

Wasn't expecting too much from it though, considering that they were just setting the plot for the last one in the trilogy.

I really loved the waterwheel scene, that was hilarious.

Did anyone see the brain of that one dude who's stuck to the boat? He pulls away from it, and you can catch a glimpse of his brain behind him.

my personal favorite line of the movie is at the end where that weird lady is saying something like, "If you are willling to travel to the ends of da eart." lmao, eart, hahahaha i LOVE that line.

i liked the one line in the movie that went "I got a jar of dirt, I got a jar of dirt, guess whats in it!" plus all the rum jokes were hilarious.

I love it... "hide the rum" XD I loved the movie... [sighs in obsession]. I think my favorite character was the damn monkey &&& the conflict between it & Sparrow. bwhahahahaha
