So I guess I'm on the borderline of artist and DJ. Even though I'm good at beat juggling and turntablism overall, I have yet to actually use tones and chords in my performances. Although, there have been some breakthroughs in my genre.

I'm currently learning "Fully Alive" by Flyleaf on guitar. I've actually learned most of it. It's a fairly easy song... but it's fucking fast. (the intro and parts of the verses).

I don't (what I call) cheating by going onto the net and looking up the music (cos the only music I can read is Oboe music and I use to play Oboe and a number of other wind instruments) I have a tendency to listen to song reapeatively and actually get in tune with the beat. I was the drummer of my band before we broke up.

Same here. I hate doing that, its a pain. Tune, Play guitar, Re-tune, play again... and then what? I've wasted hours and hours accumalitive time just tuning dammit!

@Cyro: I hate because I play a shit load of songs in Dropped D and Half Step and I play a few in Standered its a bitch retuning but I am pretty good with it I tune fast...

Guys I am so pissed I wrote the whole instrumental for this band I use to be in...and I like quit a few mounths ago and at there first gig they guy who use to play guitar with me (now only guitarist) said they are gonna play the song and to make it worse they are gonna have some guy not in band play it....shouldn't he have fucking atleast asked me I wrote it....o well they can't play whole song I never gave them tabs for my solo ....but then they could take out the solos.....FUCK!....o well maybe I am just jealous....but besides that fact I own the mother fucker who is playing my part....he sucks >.<
