I dont remember where, but I heard that it was being released early 2007. I hope it'll be out before then, but you never know. [sighs] I can't wait a bit longer before I go crazy (lol)

ok if they r having their concert in Japan (which i think is unfair to let them hear the songs first) wut songs r they gonna play? i saw some1 heard its gonna be 4 or 5 new songs but can anyone confirm this? and do we have anyone recording this.... if u know some1 going HAVE THEM RECORD IT

I personally believe that we will not know anything about the CD until very close to its release date...I'm going to say two weeks! Here is why:

 

1. Its been two years now, and the last thing LP needs is people looking to pirate thier CD before it is ever released, because the fans will jump at that faster then a starved dog going after a juicy steak.

 

2. The have been off the scene for a year now, and they need to do something BIG to get back in the spotlight, and a 'surprise release' would be just perfect. In a matter of two weeks, LP bombards the airwaves with promos, a new single, a video, interviews, and special live shows.

 

3. Because doing those two things will make them enough money so they can sit on thier butts for two and a half years straight again! Fucking brilliant!

If the news is true,I think LP's just too busy,but I think it isn't.Chaz sacrificed his solo debut just to work on LP's new album,and they have prepared and written many samples for the songs.By now I think they're already working for the release.

I can answer why it's going to be in Japan.

Because Japan is better than the United States. 9/10 of the stuff we get is from them, or they had it first.

i think theres little doubt that LP will play a few of their new songs. i mean lets not be critical, but having to wait close to 3 years, nearly a year since they actually toured, and they just kick things off with the old stuff?

 

i think just a few new tracks to giv the japanese kids somthing to tell one another at lunchtimes =]

 

plus its in almost every bands veins to play one or two new tracks to preview whats to come etc. LP did it last time before meteora released if i wasnt too mistaken

Why is it unfair? Whats the difference if you someone hears the new songs first? 2 hours after the concert, those new songs will be floating around the internet faster than the birdflu.
