I hang out with many social subculture minorities.

My favourite is the normal fun loving metal heads, that roll around on the floor laughing and play instruments.

The rest sometimes piss me off "OH I BROKE MY NAIL", "One of my socks are yellow!" , "omfg this band is like soo cool"...dude stfu atleast you have socks

Ive been looking at this topic for a long time now and wow, I've like just....I dunno, I couldn't pick my cliche.

 

Im mainly other. Im an independent person with like under 10 friends...I do things on my own, I don't rely on friends. mostly my friends are online and baseball friends that ive known for a long time.

 

my friends fit into all genres. I have a preppy friend or 2, a friend thats the class clown, a friend that listens to heavy metal and has long hair, a friend that does drugs like crazy but is smart as fuck and is probably the coolest guy ive ever met...he's stood up for me and my friends on several occasions..., I have some friends that are total losers but I <3 them, some friends that are seniors, and ive got some friends thatre girls...

 

I dunno, it's hard. Im a smart kid, I make great grades, but I just dont really depend on my friends much. id rather have an ipod full of LP/FM than 5 friends lol.

 

im kind of a loner, kind of a geek, kind of a smart kid...its weird.

hahahaha.. stereotypes are something that can't be avoided. if you want to be liked, put yourself out there and stop being so damn weird. im not saying we should all be the same, but you can be you and still fit in. i promise. i'm 6'3 and not exactly a bean pole, and i'm perfectly accepted.

 

 

and whoever said there isnt such thing as a "normal" clique.. there is. I'm one of them. i fit in with everyone. i talk to everyone. i may have a certain group that i hang out with and stuff, which are the people that are like me... people who are normal. but we can still fit in with everyone during school hours.

I never in my life tried to fit in or changed the way i was to fit in.

In my senior year superlatives, I was voted "most unique". So that has to count for something, I guess. Most of my friends were in the drama dept., but they were all different types. I got along with most people. I even somehow started a trend. Tattooing wasn't popular among the girls until I had my 1st one, going on the second. I dressed more conservatively at the time, but everyone still thought of me as somewhat of a punk with some gothic attitudes. Maybe b/c I stood firmly on Libertarian views (& quite oftenly expressed them) & I know maybe more than I should about horror movies & serial killers. My friend Geneve, called me Mrs. Gein (after the inspiration for Texas Chainsaw..., Psycho, & Silence of the Lambs) & I called her Mrs. Dahmer (she thought he was attractive) & we jokingly talked dirty about things only a serial killer would say. Yet, I was friends with people from the "prep" crowd. One of the cheerleaders even said she was living vicariously through me. I never thought about who I was, I just did it. So, yeah, I guess you can say I was...unique.

I was a skater in school. In my school ( when I was there anyway) we had a major war between the skaters and the preps. We dubbed it the skater/preppy war. Still a skater even after graduation,actually. I can stand conformists either.
