Foxx, I'm so sorry I haven't checked out your stuff here before...even though you asked me to do it...hope you're not too mad...

 

Anyway, I like Just One More...I think only a person going through the similar thing can really feel it...

 

A poem for your mother is sweet...did you give it to her? What was her response like?

 

Revived By You is good...but I guess I'm the only one who thinks that Just One More is better, lol...yeah, my taste is fucked up...

The poem for my mum, i gave it to her and while she was reading it she teared up and cried aloud. Then hugged me and said it's the best thing she has ever gotten. ^_^ that made my day

This doesn't seem a poem to me, I see more of a rap out of this. But it's a Mike rap, not a 50 cent rap, So I like it alot! It does have some healthy depth, and I like how you confront without true confrontation

A Fathers’ Day Poem

To my father, the one who’s always there for me

Who was there to help me ride a bike

Or help me understand my pesky homework.

Even though I’m not yours by blood,

I want you to know that you’ll always have my heart.

I’m so happy that you have been there to cheer me on

From karate tournaments to Marching band shows

I knew that you were behind me 110%

You supported me with my writings,

So now I give you this.

A piece of my heart to remind you of me.

I’ll always be here for you

And we will always have our moments.

From cuddling while watching Volcano

To our songs,

My Real father can’t measure up to the love you have given me

And you,

You, the one reading this

Are my True father.

So this poem goes out to you

I love you dad,

Beauty after the Storm

As the black clouds come near

I begin to hear the light sound of rain

Sitting in a field, I watch and marvel

The storm moves closer

Flashes move across the skies

Thunder right out from places unknown

Winds rush past me

Twirling my hair

Rain is now pouring from the clouds

Lightening shines in the sky

The thunder booms again

Birds fly from the surrounding trees

The west wind blows the storm past

And against the new blue sky

A rainbow makes its’ presence known

Showing the beauty after the storm

O.o WOWOOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW I really liked that! So much imagery I actually felt like I was in a field and a storm was coming from the horizon, and I could just feel it! That was amazingly written!
