Hahaha my sis has made the Sim me with my blue bikini and my sunglasses, ain't she sweet? Though my relationship with Rob is screwed and whose fault is that??? HUH??? Anyway, I don't hold grudges!! LMAO In my game though I haven't been able to make a Sim me that actually looks like me and I can't use the Sim me my sis created because it requires expansion packs I don't have... Anyway, this is the Rob sim I'm using.... He is pretty yummy alright!!!! *drools* It's actually the Rob version created by a great MTS2 member called Barcelonista, I just took it and modified it using the bodybuilder mesh just to make it look more...*sighs* Bourdilicious!!

My beloved *squeezes* don't feel bad my sweet there is nothing wrong with the Sim you made as I said it's the negative aura the real Vanessa gives out!!! *evil laughter* Well enough with my nasty comments *angelic face* I'm excited because I started a new game with: The Madden twins from Good Charlotte (thank you thank you thank you my beloved sis for finding them for me I love you!!!!) who live together, Rob who lives on his own...*sniffle* and us the sisters who also live together!! They all live in the same neighbourhood though and I'm curious to see what will happen when Rob and the Maddens get to meet the sisters!! Who's gonna get hooked with whom??? Hahaha wow this is getting exciting!!! The Madden bros (which my sis downloaded for me from the official Sims2 site) needed a few modifications which I did and I think they look pretty ok now and pretty up to date! Here they are:

Sooooo...news!!! Sis, I think you'll be happy to find out that in my game Rob had a crush on you (and you on him but that's self-understood!! lol) and you moved in with him. Jojo hit on Joel and she finally managed to persuade him to move in with her!! They are totally in-love and Jojo is already pregnant!!! She was engaged to Joel and now I consider moving to a bigger house... This leaves poor Benji alone in the Madden residence but I'll soon find the perfect match for him too I'm sure!!! So, all's good!!!

Sis its gorgeous! I'm so sim-jealous! Yeah, if it is twins shoot me. My game hates me. Twice in a row twins to Mr Cassanova Bourdon there *shakes head* I'm sick of it, I'm sick of being a Sim Parent! Watching him run off to work every day and leave sim me alone with the sim kids and sim cats and bills and overgrown gardens and nosey neighbours and crap *screams*

Anyway, he found love with sim you so its all good I guess. Meh.

 

I haven't played for a few days. Primarily no time but in part I am bored, and I feel the need for a change. I have been looking in to the Legacy Challenge but to be honest I dont like the idea of marrying a NPC or townie. Meh. I want what I want when I want it, period. Haha. At least I'm driven. But aside from that it all seems somewhat confusing, maths was never a high point of mine, so utilising fractions of percentages for points in a simulation game sounds like a blast for an accountant but not me.

The basic premise is to start with one person, a set amount of cash and to make it to the tenth generation (all traceable back to that one starting sim in the family tree) without cheating. For additional things you achieve you get bonus points etc, but personally I dont wanna jump in without first conquering the basics. So... I guess I might put a spin on it and give it a shot. Anyone up for a challenge of our own, LP themed of course!

 

I was thinking we start an LP challenge. Lets make te rules between us for anyone who cares/wants to add to it/take part/have a say/post pics/compete/all that.

 

~Basic start

Make your sim self.

 

~Make the rest of the LP crew.

Take your pick of the litter of who you want to set your sights on and settle down with. (Conversely, you can play as a band member and chose a female to marry likewise, its up to you either way). Note its gonna be you two that start the legacy so choose wisely Note the other sim doesn't have to start in a separate house from you but you'll earn bonus points if you do. It sounds harsh but its too easy to start the generations to follow straight away when both sims are living under the same roof! Falling in love takes effort, so it should be here too! If its too easy its not worth doing!

 

~Gameplay

The idea is like the legacy to buy the most expensive block of land, build and furnish a basic house and settle in, meet and marry the LP member of your choice WITHOUT cheating AT ALL, period, them get busy making the next generation. That's the basic idea. And to tell a story as it develops. The more the better, we all love stories here and pics help!

 

~Cheats

Technically you can't cheat to turn age off, not to restart your game (unless it crashes), not to alter it in any way from the way it was originally intended. Sound hard? Try playing with some 50 or so added hacks and mods that I have grown accustomed to over the years... *cries* There may be exceptions to this rule but it will depend on what everyone else thinks. Personally the more cheats you use the more points you lose and lets face it, its called a challenge for a reason. If you cheat you make it easier. Life's not like that, why should sims have it any easier??

 

~Extras/Downloads etc

Downloaded objects and genetics etc are all fine but you are not allowed to have objects or mods or hacks that interfere in anyway with basic game play as stated above without incurring penalties. There is a sidenote to this clause. The basic game does not have a good substitute for the music career. There is one at MTS2 that I use that is a musician career that is safe and lets your sim become everything from a roadie to a rockstar but its up to everyone whether or not to allow custom careers.

 

Your chosen partner, once they move in with you, must support you. I think being bandmembers they should hopefully get the job in music and ace it all the way to the top as far as he can get before he expires. Its a thought, and he probably wont get too far if you take your time falling in love. The kids you have must age and develop normally and you get more points for how well they progress in life. They must in turn grow up, meet and marry another and create the next generation and so on all for bonus points and additional story advancement. Its all a numbers game but its something that interested me enough to consider. Its kinda boring doing the same old thing every other day. Just wanted to see what (if anything) everyone else thinks?
