PS3 Vs. Wii

After that I have not comment It actually wasn't that bad of an E3 many companies do the same thing (not just in the gaming world).

 

I am still saying though N64 > PS3 > Xbox 360> PS2 = X Box > Wii > Gamecube

I have to put Wii first, because it plays games from SNES, NES, and Genesis, and you can't compete with the classics.

OMG the Atari. I have StellaX (or something like that) which is an emulator, and I downloaded a zip file of every Atari game. I had a lot of fun with that....

First you ask me to list the Wii games that supposedly have no substance then you proceed to tell me that it's right to do so since "Nintendo is going back to it's roots."

I never said that, Clogz did. Get your facts straight before you go ahead and make accusations.

 

Comparing iPod/other mp3 players to Wii/other consoles is completely different, since iPod is judged on hardware where consoles are judged on software. Your best system is based on your opinion and your opinion only.

I want a Wii, pretty bad. I get to play all my Gamcube games, as well as have free Wifi, along with later connection to DS. And the fact that there will be awesome first party games. But after I thought about it, I really, really want a PS3 also. Mostly because it's backwards compatible, which means I can play all of my Playstation games that I have (FFVII, FFIX, GT1, GT2, MGS) without all the glitches, bugs, freezing, and memory loss that happens on my emulators. Plus, I could buy some PS2 titles that I like. (Plus has anyone seen the graphics?! OMG) But yes, I know graphics really don't matter. But actually, in a sense, they do. But I won't get into that. I still perfer gameplay > graphics. The only thing is, if I ever get a PS3, then I'd really need a nice high def TV.

 

So now, I really don't know which one I want now. I just know I don't want an Xbox360. For some reason, I just don't like Microsofts systems.

But the Wiimote is difficult to use when it comes to turn-based RPGs like FF.

well the remote isnt SPOSED to be used with EVERY game, else they woodnt be selling many titles. hence why they also have a normal wireless controller, which, mind you is ALOT cheaper and comfy than any other controller iv used.one of the things i love about the remote is that i can shove it in a wheel and i can use it like a wheel,rather than buying pedals,driving wheel and whatever else i need just to play a racing game.

 

the thing going for the wii is simply that its being released around christmas as EASILY the most affordable new age console out there that is quite alot of fun once you get into it. the 360 when it was released was a flat 600 with basically oen controller, any lil upgrades u wanted wood set you back all the way to the 1000 mark. the ps3 is coming out as a FLAT 1000, minus any extra add-ons and good gaming titles(which will EASILY cost 100-150 dollars since, as mentioned, the companies spent MILLIONS to develop them once they DO release)

the wii is only 400 atm, comes out with a game and everything u can buy for the wii is cheap as well. put this into perspective that is IS xmas makes this an even BIGGER win win situation for nintendo.

i dont mind the ps3 one bit, but honestly, having to wait SO long for the ps3 to come out, then finding out its 1k minus ANYTHING decent in it except its blu ray device just puts me off. the wii gets my vote until the ps3 is simply more affordable

PS3 waay overpriced. Nintendo Wii....well the games don't look any good. And i wanna play games when i feel lazy, i dont wanna be swinging my arms around when im playing a game. The Wii would be great fun when you've got friends at your house though. If i had to choose, i'd probably save up heaps and get a PS3.

But I'm happy with my decision to get the XBox 360

well i personally think the wii looks really fun and cool.

so id probably just get it, plus im a nintendo counsel girl so i do favor nintendo alot over other gaming systems but omfg gamecube was shittt, n64 possibly the best ever.

PS3 = a bargain the blu-ray player itself in it cost like 100 USD
