Friðbjörn Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Barca - Getafe 2-0 now after 38 mins Messi scored the 2nd goal by taking on the whole Getafe defence starting his run on Barca's half of the field... it was frighteningly remniscant of Maradona's goal from '86... Person Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 CONCACAF Champions Cup Finals Pachucahttp://mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/20_g.gif-http://mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/28_g.gifChivas This Wednesday in the Estadio Jalisco, Chivas and Pachuca will play the first half for the spot to assist the FIFA Club World Cup next December in Tokyo, Japan. These will be the first 90 minutes of a final, that although under-appreciated by some, will have a prize that offers the resulting monarch something that's not depreciable, especially economic-wise. The loser of this final will have their very own reward in being able to attend the "Copa Sudamericana" which in this moment, the crown belongs to Pachuca. Although we are talking about an international duel, the two best teams from the Mexican League will face off. They are the last two champions of the Mexican cup and both are in first place of their league tables. There is no doubt that they are the two teams that play the best in this moment throughout North America. The best thing among this game will be the offensive tendencies in which both teams have. Without a doubt this will cause the game to be going from side-to-side; back and forth. An offensive display that will surely be a spectacle. Both teams use a 5-3-2. Pachuca with a patient driving of the ball, often slow, although they are capable of a deadly counterattack. On the other side, Chivas is always maintaining equilibrium. They look to be lethal with their speedy wingmen. The trio of attackers are expectacular. Chivas with Adolfo 'Bofo' Bautista, Alberto Medina, and Omar Bravo (16 goals in total through 15 games), and in Pachuca's side, Christian Gimenez, Damian Alvarez, and Juan Carlos Cacho (also with 16 goals through 15 games). Wow... y'all better read this! I hate making up stuff for nothing! Quote
Friðbjörn Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 haha I thought you copied this from a sports website or something, it's that professionally put surprised that these teams play so defensive... Quote [broken External Image]:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2784/lpfas08mostintelligentym8.jpg
Person Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 lol this isn't really defensive >.> Pachuca (10-3-2) has 31 goals in what comes of the tourney; the highest scoring team. Chivas (8-4-3) has 23 =O Pachuca has only recieved 11 goals; the lowest in the tourney. Chivas has recieved 13. Pachuca is 1st place with 33 points. Chivas is 2nd with 28. I don't really know how Pachuca plays, but for Chivas, it's more like the diagram I will try to make below: --------------------Michel---------------------- ---Magallon--------Reynoso---------Rodriguez--- -Martinez-------------------------------Morales- ---------------Mejia--------Pineda-------------- ----------------------'Bofo'--------------------- ---------------Bravo------Medina--------------- Looks more like a 5-2-1-2 *shrugs* Thanks for the compliment btw! lol Quote

On other news... did you see Lionel Messi's goal!? OMG! Maradona style! simply amazing! and finally! In Mexican League news... http://mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/28_g.gif4 ------------- http://www.mediotiempo.com/inc/img/equipos/22_g.gif0 Goals: Bravo (Chi) (14') (53') Baez (Chi) (87') Bautista (Chi) (90') Chivas (8-3-5) completely raped Veracruz (3-11-2) even more than they had been throughout the whole league. With a league worst 32 goals against and 10 goals in 16 games (a difference of -22), They ARE the worst team around XD. Thank you! And Good NIGHT! Quote
