I was reading this in the newspaper this morning and thought that it was very interesting so i would to share it with you.

 

Unicef conducted a survey to check the living conditions of teenagers ( and generally what there lives are like) in the world top 21 most industrialized and wealthiest countries. These are the results. ( they like put into catorgaries-thingys)

 

Used Cannabis in the last 12 months:

Lowest: greece, 4.2%

Highest: Canada, 40.4%

 

Had a baby (15-19 year old births to 1,000 women)

lowest: Japan, 4

Highest: US, 46

 

Deaths from accidents ( 15-19 y.o out of 1,000)

lowest: Sweden, 7.6

Highest: new zealand, 23.1

 

Involved in a fight in the last 12 months

lowest: Sweden, 15%

highest: Portugal, 48.5%

 

Currently overweight

Lowest: Poland, 7.1%

Highest: US, 25.1 %

 

Been drunk at least twice

lowest: France, 8%

Highest: Britain, 30.8% (woot woot, go us!!!!:clap: )

 

Had sexual intercourse

Lowest: Poland, 15.1 %

yes, i see your point. corruption is bad. What if everyone gave their donations to an independant organization ( which was back by something like the U.N so there could be no leeway for corruption). Then the independant organization use the money to set up like a headquater to educate people about aids and to give them medication so that they werent in so much pain.

I think its probably already been done, meh, people just need to donate more, or maybe governments from Medc's should give more money no strings attached.

I can't say I agree. the biggest world leading countries never rank that high. except spain in this. what is to expect is like the list tells, it's always the nordic countries that score highest, along with usually the benelux countries, and like, switzerland, lol. I thought Norway would've taken the cake. It's usually Norway that scores highest in like ALL life standard researches
