That sucks man, i get that all the time...And when something gets me down how your are, i would usually cut, or do something to take my mind off of it, usually boxing or something physicaly draining...Another thing, if her friends always misinterpret you, first, have you tried telling them that you wouldnt ever do that, second, try and not say anything around them unless it is specific, like you say who you are saying this about..

I dont know if this will help, but i hope it does

Here, some great advices.

1. Be happy

2. Think of reasons to be happy

3. TALK about stuff to sort them out. Things are usually better than what you think they are

4. Stop hurting yourself physically. It doesnt' work

5. This will sound stupid, but watch cartoons. Spongebob will really brighten your day up no matter what

Your girlfirend's disorder... what's that about? If it's really serious, see a doctor. But just always keep this in mind:

1. It's okay

2. Everything can be mended

3. There's always tomorrow

4. Take deep breaths

5. Everything will be fine when it's sorted out

If I was you I would follow this advice mate. :) Well done "LP~Shinoda~FM" I'm gonna rep that post. :)

Firstly, my help thread exists for a reason. I am taking an uncharacteristic turn to be here.

Next - your girl having a disassociative disorder - of any degree should not bring you to cut yourself. Self mutilation is not the key. I am going to ask you to do something that no one has asked you. Dig deep. Remind yourself of how wonderful your girlfriend is. If you off yourself, or screw up, she could be gone for good, and unless I seriously misjudge your character, that is not something you want to have happen.

At the end of the day, you need to know deep down why you are here. Good people find good people. You have a girlfriend that cares about you and you have a support system in place. All I can offer is smile more, meditate, cleanse yourself of negative thoughts and laugh a lot more.

I tell everyone to laugh more. It sounds odd, granted, but the person who is too busy laughing at a crisis is too busy to get frustrated. Not to mention, with a mindset like "this too shall pass" - I would rather spend my time laughing my ass off then ripping my hair out.

Hope this helps,

~MK
