Greyfoxx Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 To qoute George Carlin... "But what about the parents? Didn't they raise him? But parents are partly full of shit. Its the same every time. If the kid turns out fucked up and crazy, they just say "Oh, We didn't have anything to do with that! Its those kids they hung out with in the parking lot!" But you know what? If little Johnny or little Susie become a success, those parents are the first ones to jump up and take all the credit for it." (paraphrased of course, I don't remember the sketch word-for-word) But seriously, I love his point that...in the end...parents are always the ones raising thier kids and if a kid ends up screwed up, it is generally the parents' fault. That is my belief. I agree with that. Parents always say that if their kids turn out bad they say it's because of the music they listen to, the games they play, or the things they watch. But if they become an important person in life then the parents are like "We taught him/her everything they know. We've always known that he/she would do great things. Ect ect ect" Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/597b7053e7f6b9db3d3e47081db54c76.jpg youre so freaking gothic fox' date=' just wait till you meet the emo me. youre like redheaded vampira or something[/quote'] http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/aac84d56c4349b6631041cd70d25f813.gif
Holy War Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Welcome to today's society, well at least in the states...I'm not able to comment on other countries.
