Well yea, best day of MY life

MTM released today here. Yay.

 

But I'm not going to listen to it yet. Why? Cuz I haven't got it yet.

 

Well to make long story short. Pouring rain, mom has a supposed headache, complete disappointment because she kept changing her mind about whether she was going to drive me to the mall or not. Then in the end she didn't.

 

And I'm guess I wouldn't be touching the album until 200 hours later.. sometime in the weekend. Because my mom is apparently too busy to drive me any other day of this stupid week.

 

I know this may not seem much to many of you guys. I mean, it's only like till the end of the week, I've waited that long, I can wait for a few more days. But it's not okay. Before the album released, I was waiting for Linkin Park. I was waiting for them to perfect their album, and perfect their sound. I was patiently waiting for them. But then now, knowing that their CDs are sitting in a music store, waiting to be bought... it just sucks.

 

I mean how crappy is this? May 15 FINALLY comes, and I haven't heard anything except for WID and maybe like 2 seconds of Given Up, and probably maybe like 5 milliseconds of Bleed it Out. (Unintentional I'm telling you) Well this day was pretty much crap for me. And it'll probably be like this until the end of the week.

 

And no one seems to understand. Everyone's just saying, "God, it's a stupid album, you can download it and burn it into a CD if you really want." ... But no, they don't' get it.

 

Well, I'm just trying to find some support and understanding from you guys.

Well.. if it's any consolation, I didn't get my special edition today because of the recall here in Canada So maybe the special edition will be back on store shelves when you go to get it.. that is, if you were planning on buying the special edition in the first place

I think it's completely stupid how every different place in the world has a different DVD region code on the disk... So If I buy something from japan and bring it home to Australia, I wouldn't be able to play it unless I re-burnt it without the region. But anyway... The time I get my copy their wont be any special editions left!!! :'( :'( :'(

And yea, I'm probably going to get the special edition. But it's not exactly that I can't stand, it's just how my parents are like, "A stupid CD isn't important."

my reasons are that cause of work I've had 0 time to even check if it's even for sale at the TWO stupid stores that sell music here

 

if I find time I'll check if it has arrived which probably won't be until after a couple months or something...and then I'll see whether I'll be bankrupt from buying it....so you're not alone lol

lol, thanks. it's funny because ppl keep giving me giftcards for birthdays and christmas and stuff that I have over $50 of HMV giftcard... lol, so money shouldn't be a problem for me.

This is why Canadians and Icelandic people must always carry a lot of extra money when buying things because they have learned the hard way that sometimes you hafta bring more than just one cent extra when you're buying something + tax.

My parents are awesome they will allow to buy anything that i can prove is of educational purpose.

 

My excuse (May 15, 2007) "But mom, i need the album today as it is very detremental to my educational experience and is a great inspiration. I think my grades prove that I have earned the right to purchase this album."

Well now that I've gotten the album this is over with. Though I didn't get the special edition though :/ still don't have them here in Canada.

 

I also feel so accomplished cuz I basically convinced them to let me attend their concert in August today \m/
