LPF Awards? Yes or No?

And yeah, Gardon...I do agree with you...but you know...usually the people who deserve awards are also popular...I mean...they're not popular without any reasons...right?

I say, that we Do the awards, but before we announce the winners, we check over the votes and make sure the person who is to win deserves it. I know that might sounds like "Fixing" the awards, but if you dont want the 'popular' person to get it, then thats the only way of doing it, unless you just review who you put on that they can vote for.

This reminds me of something with the civil rights movement where schools had to allow enough black people to attend them. Then a white guy was not accepted to a college because they had filled their so called 'white quota', even though he was more qualified for the position than were other blacks who were allowed in. Needless to say he took the school to court and won.

 

We can not just simply keep it from being a popularity contest buy eliminating them completely, that is equally unfair. Also, who is the judge of who is popular and who is not, that too is opinion based. If they are as popular as some people say then they must be doing something right around here... why shouldnt they win awards?

Yeah that is always true.

But there is an award for best new person

 

We should make it that even if elites flame out of context they should also be suspended.

So then they can't say we have an unfair advantage.
