Usiel Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Tonz;512286']well its the critics views, and theyre free to express em, same as you are right now people are gonna like, people are gonna hate, who are we to tell people what to think? We're nobody to tell what someone have to do. We're nobody to decide for others. We're nobody to choose others's destiny. And the first "no one" is me. I think one of the most important characteristic men and women hve is their, our freedom. We're lucky (at least all who are living in a democratic country) of having a personal opinion and to have the right to express it freely, but it doesnt mean that, sometimes, we should think a little bit on what we're going to say, what words are going to be used and if that are right for the moment and for our listener. From my point of view, it hasnt the same impression to say: " Honestly,I prefer HB than MTM 'cos..." and so on, than "MTM is the bigger shit I've ever listened. You're a fool if you buy it". You can be saying the same, but the difference between both is that in the last one choice hasnt any respect at all. And if we have the opportunity to be free, we should obligate us not to make our opinion as if it was the primordial one... after all, we can be wrong. Definitevely, of course, express yourself all that you want, you're free but, please take care of them, because sometimes words can hurt more than weapon. You see, freedom is something great but it takes a hard responsibility too, and not everybody have it. @By the way, forgive 'cos I've broken the thread for a while. I hope you can accept my pardon. Rock 89 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 My favourite is Hybrid Theory cuz in this CD there's the very essence of Linkin Park, the real music that they wanted to make. This is the REVOLUTIONARY sound! HT Rulez! AussieLP Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 My fave LP album has to be Meteora. It has my fave song on it, Numb. I love it! But it was a tough choice. Like Rock 89 said, Hybrid Theory was the very sound of Linkin Park that got me interested with the release of One Step Closer. Meteora was the evolution of this sound. And MTM has the band going in a new direction. MTM is a great album. I love to listen to it (with the exception of Valentine's Day). But Meteora has to be my fave album, it has some fantastic songs! Quote Sunday 21st October, 2007 - LINKIN PARK - Sydney Entertainment Centre - BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! Icons, Art & more
Natsuki Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Hybrid Theory - it's the first, and you can't beat it... in my opinion, anyway, followed by Meteora and then MTM. I liked them all, but Minutes comes 3rd because I preffered the old LP formula - Mike rapping, the riffs, and then Chester switing between singing and then screaming the bridges, etc. I know that the sound had to change because nobody wanted a hat trick of the same old thing, but when Qwerty was released, even though it wasn't going to be on the album, I just expected MTM to be heavier than it turned out. Jester_In_Flames Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Well, it's either Meteora or Hybrid Theory, I can honestly say MTM was a let down, I bought it on the first day, I give it a listen or two every once in awhile, it just doesn't have what I loved about their other stuff. heavyness. But I like Meteora because it's a bit softer then HT but still has heavy stuff in it. But I've been listening to HT more lately so i'm going to pick HT. Quote

gmg_LP Posted December 23, 2007 Posted December 23, 2007 Meteora will always be best!...Hybrid theory is almost as good as Meteora, so i guess Minutes to Midnight comes third Quote
Tomer Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I don´t have a favorite cd Every cd has some songs I love Same here. As all LP album's are equally good, makes it harder to choose that "one" favourite.. At least, IMO. Quote GONE (Thanks everyone for the good memories)
chester_Crazy Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 ^_^ I can't pick. I love them all. They each have brought something new to the table. But I'm on a Reanimation binge right now so... I guess you can put me up for Hybrid Theory. ^_^ Quote I am the enemy who is honest and the friend who has betrayed but it's not my fault you've left your mind in my hands to invade Remember to return the needle once I'm done with your vein And I'll remember to give a push when your mind can't complain
LÎnkinPärkExtreme Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Each album has a different way to express emotion... And all 3 of the albums expressed different powerful emotion inside the lyrics. Quote
Person Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Meteora. Minutes to Midnight just feels too much like they're another band _-_ The only song that has a faint feel to their previous stuff is What I've Done. Quote
