Well if you check on LPMB there's at least sixty threads with titles such as:

 

"I waited four years for THIS [insert noun]!?"

"MTM is a piece of [insert noun]"

"I'm sorry LP, but MTM is just too [insert adjective]"

"LP should change back to their old style"

"What happened to my favorite band? MTM is a [insert adverb] [insert adjective]!!"

I don't see why people are complaining I am all for bands trying new things thats how a band develops. Personally I think that LP will realize that maybe not many people liked the album and the next will be amazing. I love M2M!![:-}

I don't think MTM is shit, but im still adjusting to their new style, I prefer their older style as it suited my music taste. Theres a few songs that i love on the album (Like Bleed It Out, In pieces, In Between and Valentines Day) and a few that i don't find that have that certain spark.

Here's my stance.

It's a good album, but I can't listen to it. I think it could have been ten times better.

Yeah, they've grown & matured musically, but I personally do not like the album. It does not suit my tastes. I'm not saying that it needs to be like HT or Met., but it could be better. They had a lot of potential to make it ten-folds better than either of their early albums, but they didn't take the opportunity.

Opinions are not absolute. It may be your opinion that it's a shame that people don't like an album (god forbid!) but that doesn't make it true.

I never said it was true. Honestly I really don't care if people don't like it. I just think it's a shame they don't, because I think it's better then their previous two. The whole concept of discussing music is opinionated anyway. So that's pretty much the entire idea behind it.
