Ben6485 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 this song is fucking amazing...but i doesnt make me feel happy or something...because its about WAR!!! a how bad it is...i love the words: when the rich wage war its the poor who die its so wise and true... This is one of my favorite quotes in any song I have ever heard...its the most bold and true statement ever Quote
chester_Crazy Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 When I first heard this song I had it on repeat for a week or so straight, haha. I think it's a very powerful, well constructed song. I make everyone I know listen to it. XD Mike sings so good on this track and his rapping is phenominal. Agreed. ^_^ Quote I am the enemy who is honest and the friend who has betrayed but it's not my fault you've left your mind in my hands to invade Remember to return the needle once I'm done with your vein And I'll remember to give a push when your mind can't complain
Acezorz Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I love the song too, my second favourite! I don't really like the amen bet, but the hands held high part at the end is the best part. Quote
Linkin_lp_park Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Since the Kroq concert I like it more Powerful and beautiful lyrics, combined with a nice chorus Quote ιη тнє ѕιℓєη¢є σƒ тнє ∂αякηєѕѕ

HaziLPTonz Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 i relly think LP coulda done MORE with this song, sure it sounds ALRIGHT...but iono, while the lyrics are powerful and certainly the some of better ones LP have written, the rest of it is quite mediocre for me Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/ddd296f8f90eca79dbafae096b6d28b3.jpg
Jeezy Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 it is for sure a great song when they play it live...but besides that...meh Quote

ovchica Posted February 6, 2008 Posted February 6, 2008 great song. i like lyrics. they re amazing Quote
P4R4D0x Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 It's an awesome song, i'm into rap and i love mike shinoda. Really well written, directly touches on war and political isssues, pretty sweet. Quote
woodyloveslinkin Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I don't know how I feel about it. It's really similiar to what I've done, as the purposes and the motifs are similiar. It doesn't grab me at all in the long run. I think that the rap and the motif that they are trying to convey sounds too forceful and a bit like Black Eyed Peas old stuff. How can you compare Linkin Park with those black guys. Quote
Peterdea Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I like it more then most of MTM Quote Its good to be back.
woodyloveslinkin Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 What did you just say? How can you compare Linkin Park with those black guys. Easy, it's like comparing them to a bunch of one trick ponys. I think the song I was thinking of that I couldn't put my finger that I was trying to compare, was the song "Where Is the Love?" by the Black Eyed Peas. Again, the motif is too forceful and sounds really fake. Quote Mia Elizabeth 18/2/10 Kate Helena 8/7/11 My baby girls <3
chesjon Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I love the song Hands Held High just like the rest of Linkin Park's songs... I won't say it's my favorite but I really like it a lot! Quote Linkin Park Lyrics, Wallpaper and Ringtones at LPSpot.com
koolkat01 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 This song is truly amazing. I love the lyrics. Quote
