Stenners Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Am I allowed to say this bout the new song: Evolution is more of the same from a band that past its peak a good 6 years ago, the band never that great in the first place used to be able to pull of some quite good moments. With this song u hear the cliche backing vocals and the oooooo so terrifying and heart bounding orchestra, the chorus lacks any real momentum in fact this song is starting to sound more n more like bands such as trapt the more I hear it. Nothing that made Korn to a degree unique in the first place is here leaving this track about as interesting as a battle ship grey stone. 2/10 Quote Delete my account, the is no reason why it should be against standard procediure, do it do it do it. I like what I like, I don't go further than that, hahaha. As for Korn, I never really got into them... don't know why. I'll probably check out the album regardless, but if the past repeats itself (like it has for several years with Korn) then I probably won't be to thrilled. Im still going to get the ablum bc Korn were really good and im still a bit hopefull for them, so fngers crossed. There last album wasnt that great but was a difnate improvement form their previous two. BUT, they cut out songs such as eaten up insde and le petite mort from it. Absaloutly understandable but I like what I like often to, unforutenetly for me i'm alot more picky now then I used to be... the more music I hear the more I grow to expect certain hooks, rhythems and structure. I do like a nice simple song as much as the next guy I have a birrage of stuff on my pc which isn't ground breaking but is fun.
