Cyro Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Well, as everyone knows... everyone who's here (for the most part) was a pretty big LP fan at one point or another. Starting around 2004 though many fans started losing interests in droves. So, now with the release of Minutes to Midnight, I have a question for everyone. Are you still the hardcore Linkin Park fan you were years ago? 1 Quote http://www.sucksbbs.net/data/MetaMirrorCache/43e69772bb6f13028179fe6b2776b7f6.jpg [broken External Image]:http://hahninator.sotrix.net/lpliveguide/cutenews/data/upimages/lplive.jpg

I love them, and their first names are thrown around my dinner table on a regular basis. Sygy Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 definatly not! i use to be like the mega-LP fan but alas M2M sucked and beforehand their posters were replaced with rammstein ones! Quote iam mors sola fuga est [broken External Image]:http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/9977/n76430001741552817731hb2.jpg
Breakdown Conspiracy Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I will always reserve a place for LP's greatness and creativeness. But their lack of music in the last few months have driven me to like bands like Deftones, portishead, and massive attack more. But I must say LP were the first band to introduce me to the experimental genre, and I will always love mike shinoda and co for what they've done. Quote .no
lstic Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I still like them, but not as i used to... I like M2M too, very much, but now when they released it i sure won't listen to them on the max volume because it's like i'm listening to Justin timberlake or similar.... But meteora and HT are still on the top of my list.... Quote In space, no one can hear you scream... Visit me on http://mamlazoid.deviantart.com
Friðbjörn Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 the simple answer is nope. but I do still come here, and I still enjoy watching behind the scenes stuff with the guys and everything...so I definitely still am a fan I listen quite a lot to MTM, and lately I've gone a bit back to Meteora, but I'm not the huge fan I used to be Quote [broken External Image]:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2784/lpfas08mostintelligentym8.jpg
Yackiestinger Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 No, I'm not a fan anymore. I grew up that kind of music. Once in a let's say 8 months I listen to them. I was a huge fan from 2000-2003 until they started to do mash ups, rap boring stuff. And MTM. That was it. Obssesion had died, but I thought I'll never stop to listen them. LÎnkinPärkExtreme Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 The people who don't stay hardcore fans just go with another band and when they change there style they go to another 1 and so on... It's like people never make up their minds on what they want from their fav bands :-P Quote
Friðbjörn Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 or the fact that eventually you grow tired of the band, no matter how much you liked them at one period. Quote [broken External Image]:http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/2784/lpfas08mostintelligentym8.jpg

Black_Angel Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Hah I'm the only one so far who voted for the bottom one :| Don't get me wrong, I don't hate them or anything! It's just I don't really like their style of music anymore and haven't done for over a year atleast. I'd listen to them if I had to, like. Quote i still love you, girl from mars.

crazy robster Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Like I said once, I've never betrayed them and never will... They are the best and they are always number one for me, period. My other fav bands DO change from time to time but LP are always and steadily on the top. <3 Quote [broken External Image]:http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g189/rbffe/rob_opens-eyes.gif My sis about Rob: "You'll be celebrating your golden infatuation with him one day.."
cmlp Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 I'm not as into LP as I use to be. I don't listen to them everyday. If their song pops onto the radio, I'll blast it. Still like them, just not as much. That kind of goes for the whole US music scene really..^^; Quote [broken External Image]:http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p184/mizuki69/sig.jpg
LPShinodaFM Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Forever and ever. Well I've only been one since like November 2005... But yea, forever and ever. (I just realized how long it took me to join LPF...) Quote
