faint vs given up

 

my vote goes to given up for the insane scream which i love

Given Up, although if it was Faint with the Live ending i'd vote for Faint, but it isn't so Given Up is better then imo:)

Given up just misses the target...

chorus is all too typical and simple, the 17 sec scream is brill as well as Phi's bass playing, but "Put me out of my misery" is so horrible cheesy to hear that I haven't listened to GU since first I got the album...

 

Faint on the other hand has much more diversity. it has rap, samples, and great energy, and the new ending they put to it when live just owns.

Given Up is very simple, but faint....hmm I duno it just gets on my nerves, alot like in The end does.
