I'm going to give an insight to what I am writing at the moment, just cos I'm bored:

 

"Well, aren't you the polite lady?" asked the woman, as Sarah nodded. "I'm glad someone has manners around here. All this pushing and shoving, doesn't sit well with someone who's claustrophobic-" Sarah saw the lady staring at something or someone behind her. She frowned as she turned around to realise that the lady was staring. Sarah should've known, sh was staring at the town bicycle. Sarah rolled her eyes and looked forward. She walked on, leaving the town bicycle, Penelope and the strange lady to themselves. "Why am I not surprised to see you here, David?" Her speech was thickened by her very obvious English accent.

"Well if I were to be a surprise to you, I did a bad job of it," answered David, as he couldn't help but to give a faint smirk. The lady who had the blonde hair and wore a blue sundress looked from David to Penelope who had one of David's huge arms wrapped around her neck, for that was the only way Penelope could help him, seeing how Sarah refused to help the poor man who had been attacked twice by the same method of injury but by two different people. "This is Penelope." He smiled, with cheek.

"Hi..." Penelope had no clue who she was greeting and looked rather confused. David turned to her.

"This is Holly," he introduced. He lowered her voice and took it down to a whisper in her ear. "Beware, she's a vixen to women and to all men. So if she gets nasty with you, I'm telling you now, no surprise. She's the meanest New Worlder I've seen since, I don't know, Sarah, I suppose. But even Sarah has flexibility at times, this one never budges. She was born arrogant, I swear on my father's grave."

"What are you putting in that girl's head, David?" asked Holly, crossing her arms. If any onlooker had been at the sidelines of David's entire life, that onlooker would have concluded that David loves blondes, thus, Holly and Bella, on top of every other blonde that had crossed David's path, more than once, and David made sure they crossed his path more than once.

"Nothing," answered David, with an innocent look on his face. He was almost tempted to put his puppy eyes on but decided that motion was too desperate. He was desperate, but not that desperate. He already had Bella wrapped around his finger, he didn't want more, just for the time being.

He tightened his grip around Penelope, to the point where Penelope was starting to think that she was David's doll for the evening. Penelope didn't know David that well, personally, but she saw how every woman treated him. With the eyes of a dog - the puppy eyes when it was obvious that the woman was in love with him, and the other, the eyes of a rabid dog - the ones that held this characteristic had made it clear that they wanted David dead. Probably because they were once the women with the puppy eyes turned rabid.

me likes so far, though i think Holly should still be called the other womens name you said to me cause i think it fits better but thats my opinion

I decided that there were too many P's. If I put Opal and Penelope together, it wouldn't sit right.

I'm rather fussy in my characters names, I think Sarah was the easiest one to choose :lol:

Because already I have too many V's and R's - Viking & Ravyn, Rob & Ravyn. I tend to think of Draven when I think of David (similiar spelling but different sequels there). I've already used up Z and X's - Fox and Chaz (Fox died at the end of the first one Chaz lived..Mike didn't ). Timothy is not just his full name, but it's actual name. You know Matt, who I base Penelope on right? Penny, but I never once refer to her as Penny. Like Chaz, I never refer to him as Chester, just Chaz. There's probably only one character I think that has been called their abreviated name and her full name, that was Mel (Melissa), ah, alas, I have found another one - Brad, he gets referred to as Bradley by Spyro in Tourniquet.

Im pretty sure im about to get another barrel, but yes i guess at Penny being well Penny, lol. but im sure ive read Penelope being reffered to as Penny just the once

 

but you want to share more rantings feel free, its what im here for i guess, lol

If I have reffered to her as Penny, that was a typo or a writer's block. Actually I've named another character. You don't find out until Tourniquet : Conquest, but Bella's full name (who's currently been knocked up with David's child) is Isabella-Daphene. So how's that for an interesting character's name? On top of that Chaz's wife who died in the blast, was named Celeste (you find this out in Tourniquet and Tourniquet : Conquest). Rob's wife who died in the blast was named Virginia (something with V's that man has got going seeing how he falls in love with Ravyn and manages to....I'm not going to tell the rest, that you'll have to read about it yourself!).

I must admit, it's no breeze in the sail with this, afterall it is a sci fi book in the future and the fact that I've created events that haven't happened in real time and made up terms that no one in this lifetime would understand - how many people can tell me what an Automatic Telling Machine is? Haha. Sustaining it is hard. Before Tourniquet, I had never written sci-fi before.

I'm listening to Placebo non-stop as of last night. I don't know why but I have a sudden urge to Brian Molko my avy and sig, but I know I'm worth more than that, Jack's worth more than that to be replace like that.
