im willing to share the TBS and FOB shows iv got so far(FOB only have 2 songs so far,but TV quality-the ripper didnt seem to keep ripping after the first 2 tracks...),TBS is web rip and ony played 4 songs.

Is this about Live Earth or LP's performance at Live Earth?

 

Anyway, what´s the point bringing huge amount of electrical equipment in many different locations, and then get many bands (Who all come there with own private plane... At least most of them) to play at there... And then all the people who watch that show. I guess their goal was to get 2 billion people to watch it...

 

... And the message, save the earth... Ironic.

 

How does that help saving the earth? Those concerts don´t do a damn thing to save the earth.

the concerts arent there to save the world or stop greenhouse emmission, its to RAISE AWARENESS to the world that these things are happening, believe me when i say alot of people wouldnt know jack squat about greenhouse emissions, and all of the concerts were apparently carbon neutral anyways, so yer, in a way it does nothing but stream hot air from bands bleating on about stuff about carbon,greeenhouse and such, anyways, it was a pretty good concert series anyways lol

I know that now there are more people that know these things better now, but I think that they didn´t really need to put so many concerts just to say that.

i spose it comes down to who you listen to and who youd respect, like for me, i wouldnt listen to any of the dribble that any of the australian artists would say, they dont need a f*ken concert to say it, theyre always in the news bagging someone,, and having a major cry when theyre told theyre shit singers, cause well, other than wolfmother and silverchair...they were DREADFUL!

sometimes i wonder if muscians here are really politcians, they spend more time talking about policies and world treaties than singing.

 

but yer, it was a great series, japan was rocking like crazy!(which continent would they be part of...ahahaha)
