Long time members: Did you expect to stay on LPF so long?

Alright the term "long time" is gonna be a bit loose defined in this thread..so anyway just if you feel you've been here long, answer the question, lol

 

and yeah another thing, which everyone can answer, is future speculations. like me I've been here like what...over two years. do I expect to be another two years? etc

 

if you recently joined, how long do you see yourself being here on a regular basis

Personally I didn't think I would be here this long (even with last year being kinda on and off) I thought it would just be like I would hang around for a week or 2 till I got bored.

 

I plan to stay till end of summer 2008. I doubt you will see me here once I get into college. Although I would like to stay.

I've been here about 2 years. DIdn't really expect to stay that long as I was only here in the first place to get some new LP songs that I didn't have lol.

 

I think I'll be here another year and a half or so, because after that I'm going to uni so I won't have too much spare time for LPF.

The most important part of LPF is the members. So i mean if we're always still awesome and stuff... sure why not stay? haha i mean i've still got time... hopefully...

There were times when I was young and spritely... back when I joined... where I though I'd never leave, and my loyalty was vicious to LPF.... then, for example, last year I thought I'd never come back. And... well things will never be as great as they were back then... but that's the case for everything.

 

I feel a deep attachment to this place, even if some of my most cherished friends are gone now. This place I spent so many hours in... this place was a home for the shedding and growing of new layers of myself. I went through so many changes since I've joined, I'm hardly the same person, yet I have memories. And that will never change...

 

See how sentimental I am about it?

 

I don't know. I'll probably continue coming for as long as it's up and running... and so long as our passion flows... as a community.

 

I'll definitely have my down times too. During school I prolly will forget all about it. But that's a sacrifice I have to make.

 

But you know they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I'll just come back again.

I've been here for quite awhile...non-stop for about a year and a half...

I don't know why I joined...just cuz I was a LP fan...but without expectations, I think...and I don't know why I came back after that break I had...heh, who'd know...I just know that I'll never regret it...

I don't intend to leave this place...even though I'm going to uni in October I think I'll have time to check this place out...I mean, I can't just simply leave my 2nd home and all the friends I made here...they're all wonderful people who helped me through different times...and better that "real-life" ones...

Ive been here for 2 and a half years, ive had my fights, ive made loads of absolutly lovely friends who are as spiffy as hell!! When i joined i didnt think i'ld actually stay seeing as i wasnt really the interent addict back then that i am now,

 

Im probably going to be leaving in the nexxt 2 weeks to a month. So thats going be sad, it depends though, my mum wont allow me acess to a computer in the new house bc she needs it for work and shes scared that i may break it, which i can understand. it all depends if my dad has get it or not, if so then ill only be on during w/e's. :'(

This is definitely the longest time that I've ever stayed active on any forum or site. To be honest, I didn't really think I'd stay this long. But the community is awesome, all the people here are absolutely amazing and make it quite an enjoyable place:D So I'm definitely sticking around for a long time.
