First; it will never be eradicated, as much anger and frustration most may have about the issue it will always be an issue, second; I say put them in the general population inside the prison and let natural justice take it's course...if they survive there is a good chance they won't want to do it again and face going back...more than likely they won't survive.

I lit a candle, but I also agree with what Holy War said.. This is always going to be an issue, its one of things that we can never stop, no matter how hard we try. Also, I agree we should just send them to prison, for even in prison child pornography is a horrible offense, and they will get the shit beat out of them.

Well, yes... I agree with you but, I hope you can forgive me if I confess that my agreement isnt totally. Maybe I'm a fool, maybe I just only say nonsense things from a foolish girl that I'm. Maybe I'm a dreamer, but, honestly, while tomorrow will be another day, while the Sun doesnt go down inside me, I believe from the heart that tomorrow will be a new day; it'll be a new dawn, a new beginning, a new opportunity to fight for we really want or against of.

 

For me, the people how has a dream and fight for it, these people are my heroes. And we can be heroes too. Just believe in yourself and in your dream as well. Say: "I'm going to fight against the child pornography" and raise your fist bravely, 'cos you're brave; you're going to do something bravely and you're not afraid of anything 'cos with you are thousands and thousand of people who believe in your goal... maybe you cannot move the world by yourself but, who has said you're alone?? I understand what you're both saying, The nature of their sexual attraction is not, in fact, disturbing to me, everyone is turned on differently, but the fact that they have to harm or exploit something or someone in the process of getting off is what sickens me. If you have that kind of urge you should be decent enough to keep it to yourself without harming someone, especially children. Self control is a valuable trait.

you must realise, many people DONT have good self control, self control isnt something that just happens, it hasta occur naturally, just because they THINK that its wrong doesnt mean they WONT do it, like eating that last donut when you know its gonna go straight to ur ass, but you eat it anywys cause ur hungry.

 

although iv seen from stories here in AUS, rehabilitaion rarely works for some reason, pedos usually had back into the community and usually reoffend in some way, its not like theives where once theyve established themselves with jobs or w.e, they dont need money by stealing

What do you mean it has to occur naturally? The basic human instinct is to be greedy, so it's only natural we don't have self control. The moral dilemma is picking self-control over sexual gratification at the expense of the innocent. That's where we have to school ourselves into being decent human beings.

A lot of it stems from childhood (I.E. parental figure abusing, or even a neighbor) also a lot has to do with traumatic events suffered in childhood (I.E. rape, sexual assault and/or abuse) some just tend to go in that direction due to drug use or prolonged alcohol abuse, the problem with pedophilia is it doesn't have a distinct beginning or end along with the fact that for the most part it is the person's self-control that is driving the feeling in the first place. These types of criminals have been studied numerous times with the help of neurologists to study how the mind functions with certain words and/or images displayed to the person, and then there is the psychology of this type of criminal which is far different than your average person their mind doesn't work in a manner that a "normal" person's does as for them they tend to see it as developing the child or some other delusion to their actual actions. For some reason this issue is far more complex then just "pull the plug", and because of that there is no actual way to rehabilitate a person from this addiction.
