i tried to dye my hair blonde yesterday but it didnt work at all lol it was just the same colour bahhh so i tried to dye it red and that also didnt work, it just looks a funny auburn colour now lol ¬¬ damn these cheap washin-washout dyes!

 

urghh. well we tried to go town last night clubbing but we couldn't get in annyyyyywhere omg it was just a disasterous night lol we just ended up at the causeway AGAIN.

Sooooo whats going on in Alison's life!

 

Well I've been working quite abit lately, had an 8 hour shift tonight lol I'm soooo tired now and my feet really hurt arghh.. but the job is still good, everyone theres pretty much "accepted" me into the team. aha. Alex gave me a lift home tonight and we had a reet good chat about music and stuff, was nice!

 

I'm really looking forward to Sunday... IAMX CONCERT! :D

Can't wait, it's gonna be sooo fun. Me and Dan are gonna go round Liverpool for a bit before the gig because it's at the Accademy which should be fun.. the only problem is the last train back to Warrington is at like 10:25 eek :/ So we'll probably have to leave the gig early if it's not finished by then =(

 

Also, I'm debating getting my hair dyed semi-permenantly, but I have no idea whether to go darker or lighter!

I reckon either a goldenish blonde colour, or a mid-brown, but I have no idea what would suit me better, and all my friends have given me different answers lol.

Oh my goddddddd I have so much to tell y'all xD

 

To cut to the chase, me and Dan ended up getting stranded in Liverpool last night!

 

I'll start from the beginning, with lots of added random pictures!

 

 

So, our journey starts off at Warrington Central Station, where we have to wait 15mins for the train so we amuse ourselves with a random picture (as you can see Wazz has such a classy station)

We arrive in Liverpool at about 2pm, where we proceed to act like a couple of excited tourists haha.. the weather was lovely thoughh so we decided to have a wee tour of Liverpool :] We went round some old buldings and stuff, the art gallery and just had a general wander.

Then we went up the main street and went to MACCIES MAYYTE cause we were starving and I had some McNuggets yum yum ^_^ It was a reet posh maccies too!

Then we decided to trek down to the waterfront and have a look around, which was pretty cool.

And we found a retro sweet shop by the Albert Docks and I bought a Vimto bar!!!!!!!!!!111

Then we were gona go to the Beatles museum but it was too expensive lol

So we chatted to this guy instead;

Then we trekked back to the venue and got scared by a group of young girls wearing matching day-glo tights :/

So we retreated back to the old buildings lol.

Then we were people-watching and saw this guy with a red fox tail on hahahahaha (not the best pic but he's by the pink coat woman!)

So.. THE GIG! Well we started queuing up at like 6:45, not that many people there, got talking to these 2 girls and their dad infront of us lol who were pretty sound, Dan was worried at this point as he reckoned he was among only about 4 straight males in the vicinity.

 

So we got in, the venue was sooo small and cosy! Got a couple of Southern Comfort and lemonades, got extremely pissed off at having to wait until 8:45pm for the support act to come on ¬¬ There were only about 200 people there n'all.

 

So yeah, Daggers were the support band, a group of disco rock Mancs with a fit drummer and a singer who was sexy in a strange way, not too shabby tbh.

So yeah I'd got pretty close to the front, and after a further halfhour of waiting IAMX finally enter the stage! :D:D They started off with an oldie, Skin Vision, but then went straight into The Alternative, my all-time favourite song by them!! Oh yes, it was ace. haha. Then they played all the good 'uns, Kiss & Swallow, Nightlife, Spit It Out, Bring Me Back A Dog, The Negative Sex, After Every Party I Die & Sailor, if I remember correctly. They then did an encore of President and Missile, though I reckoned their set was a bit short really :/ They put on a pretty good show though, but it was dead dark and you couldn't see much for some of it... gotta admit the mass rave to Nightlife was pretty damn cool though lol. But I'm dissppointed that they didn't play This Will Make You Love Again, it would've been such a beautiful moment.

 

And I'd just like to take this oppertunity to say that Chris Corner is a sexy sexy man, even though he wears make-up!

Me and Dan were debating whether the keyboardist was a guy or a girl lol I was adamant it was a girl but he reckoned she had a man-sized crotch :/

Anyway, now to the dramatic part of the night. haha. So basically because IAMX started their gig ridiculously late, we missed our last train home (which was at 10:25), so at about 11pm when the gig finished we go to the station to see if we could salvage ANYTHING but there wasn't any trains to Wazz til morning *cry* so we went to the bus station and these 3 random old women tried to help us find a bus lol but there weren't any so late so at this point we're like shittttt we're screwed! We text Lewis' sis cause she lives in Liverpool but she was at work haha.

 

So we find a toilet in some random hotel haha then get some chips from the chippy and head back to the station, hoping to be able to wait it out in there til the earliest morning train at about 6am, but nooooooooo the station gets closed at 12:30 hahah so we were like fucking shit fuck fuck what we gonna do?! This guy tells us that there are cheapish hotels by the waterfront so we decide to trek there, but first Dan has some odd revelation that the Cathedrals might be open, because they have to accept people who have nowhere to stay or whatever.. so we walk to the new-age cathedral lol all the way up the steps but it's locked, typically. At this point we're both feeling pretty depressed about our situation lol but we contunue on towards the Anglican cathedral. I get proper creeped out by graveyards and stuff so I'm actually clinging to Dan at this point when we're walking up to the entrance of the cathedral, he doesn't help by telling me that the weird temple building is probably a mass crypt ¬¬ But yeah as we approach, a light flickered on when we walked past it and then went off again, it was sooo creepy, we actually just ran outta the gate and to the main street lol.

 

So, we head to the waterfront in search of a cheap hotel room. First we come to the lowest of low hotels, the Formule1 hotel, but theres no one on reception.. so we go to the next hotel; too expensive. Youth hostel; full. Other random hotel; full. Even Maccies was shut! =( So we decide to walk back to the F1 hotel because they had a vending machine and we wanted chocolate, walked past this proper creepy half-destroyed building which had like stairways leading to nothing and everything eek! :| But but, as we are about to buy chocolate.. the reception man walks in.. HUZZAH! We were well chuffed, turns out they have a room, so we fork out £33 and say it's ours. It was a well creepy room though lol dead white and drug addict like. There was only a double bed too hahah that amused us greatly.

 

But this is when things start to get REALLY weird. So, we're about to go to bed like, it's getting on for 3am and we're both reet tired. But Dan's like "oh shit" and I was like what? and he was like you really don't wanna know lol and I was like yeah just tell me; turns out there was a ghost in our room :/ Dan's like a psychic, he can see dead people like, and he could see a shadow of a person in our room, which proceeded to wave and point at him, at which point we were both terrified, even though I couldn't see anything. Dan's like yeah I'm gonna try and communicate with it, turns out the ghost had followed us from the Anglican cathedral, it was what caused the light to flicker, and apparently he was lonely and wanted people to 'play' with, he died 200 years ago when building the cathedral. I was proper freaked out, cause then apparently he started asking Dan to let go of me, because he wanted me for something so I was like shitttt and at this point I forced Dan to turn the light back on. It was so weird though, cause all night the ghost was touching my feet, and making the end of the bed shake, cause that's where it was stood... so fucking scary at one point I actually felt something slap my leg and I was like Dan please tell me that was you!! and he was like no it wasn't, we hardly slept a wink, and according to Dan he stayed with us until we left the hotel in the morning :/

 

Yeah then we got the train back to Wazz in the morning lol such a crazy day/night... it's the last time I purposefully miss the last train home..... I blame IAMX personally xD
