Well like Sygy I am also in a right state about results day tomorrow... I have a stress headache! Ahhhh! =(

 

I'm worried about practically everything, cept Art cause I already know that I've got a high B/low A.. depends on the generosity of the marker.... and I dunno I think Maths has gone pretty alright but other than that I'm totally nervous!

 

I'm going to my friend Chantals house tomorrow morning then we're gonna go to school and get our results at 10am.. urgh I can see myself not sleeping tonight o_0

ja, fribs, GCSE, general certificate of secondary education. The exams to mark the end of your compulsory education! quite important, though many adults do retake them after a while.

ahh now I can see why you two have been quite stressed out :S

thats not the half of it m'darling. To go on to sixth form you have to have certian grades, they all say you need 4/5 passes to continue, THIS IS A LIE!!! They set boundaries, so if u want to do government and politics you have to get like a B and above in History, or Economics you have to get B and above in Geo and a C and above in maths. The thing is, your places for sixth form arnt cememt, its like reserved if that makes sense. They have the right to refuse you at the end, if you do very badly, this doesnt normally happen but it may is say you got like all E's and D's or something!

i'm sure you hvae done well hunni, and whats most important is that you tried your best. thats what i tell my kids all the time, its not what results you get its how much effort you put in.
