ABC News cut in about 10 minutes ago about a major collapse in a bridge in the U.S. All city ambulances called in.

Their saying that the bridge apparently passed all structural integrity tests in '05 & '06. But in I'm guessing 2004 that it was rated a 50 which constitutes basically a new/replacement bridge. So it makes you wonder how the bridge became efficiant in a year.

 

Not to sure on the dates, but I know the story of the bridge being in terrible on one year and fine the next is true. This sounds like poor management and ignored signs. Another Katrina-esk kind of thing.

This is sad ive been watching the videos, my mom called me earlier telling me about it, apparently we went over that bridge a couple months ago...I dont know why but it leaves you with a weird feeling when you find that out even if it was months ago. I dont really see this any matter to joke with ,oh well.

I see 30 or so are still missing, RIP to all the victims.
