Im a member of a few forums, not just LP ones, and even my friend agrees with me on this, the members of the LPF seem constantly angry. Youre always arguing and flaming other members of the forum. Is it just me who's noticed this, or does anybody else share this view?

this is a really funny thread...

cause a lot of the time, like when in the journals, the group that hangs there says a lot how happy they are, and how well we get along, how good friends we are, etc

and a lot of that resonates with me. I can be happy a lot, seek shelter, or whatever.

 

 

but the anger thing...yeah that's also very true.

I'm gonna laugh when people are gonna flame you and say things like "GRRR NO FUCK YOU WE'RE NOT ANGRY AT ANYONE AT ANY FUCKING TIME"

there have been huge fights and flame wars. usually surrounding lpf awards. I'm not gonna lie, it's been bad on my nerves at times.

the last lpfa fiasco was the reason I quit as a mod here...it's was a bit too much. but I guess it's alright now, at least as a regular member.

 

there's been pretty much peace and quiet lately, except in the threads where matt and toxic go berserk, or well there's been stuff with other members whose names I won't mention.

 

 

I dunno...sometimes this place makes me so fucking angry, but sometimes I just love it. that's the strange thing.

Yeah, I totally agree with you, dear. I've been in other forums; this is the third one and it's this one where I enjoy more (after all, everybody says "third time lucky"). Well, in my opinion it's normal that sometimes we can live or see some confrontation. Each one is from a different father and mother. Each one has different ways of seeing, different lived experiences and not always we can be agree of/about something. Even the most closed family has discussions from time to time. But, well, the living together isnt easy (if not ask Tweety and his lovely kitty called Sylvester ) , even for us, who, unfortunately, we live too far way ones from others (what a pity!!:'( 'cos, wouldnt it be great to live a LP show all together??)

But, anyway, the formula is quite simple: a nice place for a nice people (although some of you have to improve just a little bit... I know it, I know it: I'm the first one in the list :o )

I've flamed with Stenners, Clogz, Allied, Majinkamal, Trevees, XrockinfreakinX, Vash_The_Stampede, YackieStinger, i think Hanhninator, Reflectionist, and a whole buncha other people(the ones I named are just ones I can remember at the moment). So, the way I see it I'm angry person. Because I mean to argue with so many people online has to make you a pretty unhappy person. Other wise you wouldnt do it. I mean I'm happy now. Yackie Stinger comes around every once and a while and tries to prove me wrong by calling me names or threating me or whatever but I usually just argue with him because I'm bored and I love reactions. But I mean this forum is tame. Go to any other nonLP forum and you'll see nothing but people biting peoples heads off. Especially in TECH forums... or the 4chan forums (i hate that place.)

I remember having a brief flam battle with Azem not to long after I got here... that was fun. I actually left this place for a good four or five months once without a mention to anyone where I was cause this place got me so angry a few times.

 

Lately its been pretty good but depending on who you are and how you do things it can get pretty hectic at time... but its by far not the worst forum I've been to in terms of dickheads. I probably wouldn't consider anyone here a fucking idiot but I have had my share of problems with some people in the past. Hope there are no hard feeling there.

Yeah, I actually think opposite. I think LPF is one of the most harmonized forums, ever. And sure we're not angry people, we just like expressing ourselves to our fullest extent. And I mean there's nothing holding us from doing it because it IS a forum. And really, if you compare LPF with a lot of other forums on the net, you would see that we're actually really harmonized. We might argue with one another, but that doesn't mean we hate each other or anything. No one can perfectly agree with someone else on everything. You should check out other forums though, some of them are actually bashing with like pure hatred dripping in their posts. On LPF, (since I've been around anyway) sure, we might argue in one thread, but then we go to another thread in LPF Games and start joking or talking about some random shit. And looking at the members who'd posted above me, you'd see that we all agree that LPF is a good place. And that, I think would be the best proof that shows it.

I totally agree with you, my angel!! That's it one of the best opinion which I've read here. I dont understand why many people (carefull! I dont accuse someone from here) are registering as members of some forums just only to make problems and a bad environment between their mates. I dont understand what they get doing this What do they get?

Unfortunately, I met one of this kind of persons. Terrible. I tried to help him to change his mind, I tried to help him to see that the real hero is someone who can live in peace although he's surrounded by "enemies"... the problem was the "enemy" was actually him... and the end? Well, everyone was angry with each one. The forum started to sink by a wave of anger. Usiel "gave" her public farewell between bad words and awful comments and she left it with lots of old mates behind her... I know this forum continues but nowadays it's devastated. Only the loneliness stays there.

 

I hope, for all of you, this place has a better destiny, 'cos it's terrible to see how a nice place is burnt by only a 16 years old sweden boy.

ha, stenners makes a point, anywhere where me and him or toxic are in a thread(usually music related), we take a nice little dig at each other, its nothing too bad, we wouldnt lose sleep over it, we just annoy each other like hell.

ever been to the Yellowcard Member's Board, now THIS place was a fucking laugh, this was the close to the best form "angry" and flaming you could get. EVERYONE, yes EVERYONE there has been angry adn flamed someone else. hell, it was so bad that CLOSE friends, friends whod known each other for years, met up at concerts, stayed over and such, openly fought it out over the net. the YCMB was both full of itself, there was a small group of us along with the mods who tried to quell the infighting, until some assbite decided to turn all of his attention onto us, that really tore the board to shreds. anyone whos been to the YCMB(other than the media thread, as run by me ^^(its funny how peaceful people are when you offer free downloads for albums,series,clips and youtube links...)) would have seen A HELLUVA lot worse than here

 

oh and,yer, if ur post count was below 500, as ALOT of you are here, you are treated like shit, actually no, WORSE than shit, imagine making a thread about how much you like yellowcard, then seeing 5 mins later getting 50 replies telling you how much of a tweeny you are, or an assbite or some form ass, that you should be checking the forum for such threads and not be a "noob" and repost new threads
