A new song by linkin park?

Linkin Park will play in Taipei, Taiwan today, my friend Pam reports that the band has arrived and according to this report, as soon as they landed, the guys went straight into the studio to record a new song instead of going to the welcome party because they suddenly had an inspiration for the new song. I don't read Chinese but basically it's something like that, if someone can translate it please let me know.

Your image of the media is alot different to mine, have you NEVER seen the media trying to get a story? Sure im not talking full scale rape cause... it's Linkin Park.. not the pope. But I betcha a fair few photographers saw and reporters who were on the case previously followed them.

Oo this sounds nice, not getting my hopes up or anything, but that would be awesome for LPU7 which should be out next month sometime im guessing. If its inspiring for some reason I feel a softer song coming lol.

my opinions:

they have probably been thinking of the song for a while now, maybe tested some parts of it out but not finished it when they rehearsed for asia, and then on the plane rides to other countries/days off in those countries, maybe worked on it some and finalized it...and now they're recording it in the studio in Taiwan since they're ready. it probably will be a song on LPU 7 since it's really rare for LP to record a song at the most random time. they probably want it for LPU 7 because they only want 1-2 b-sides on it (we know they have at least 4 others than No Roads Left for sure) and no demos so they want another studio track to throw on it, which would be this.

 

that's all assuming it's real and I hope it is, that'd be great!

 

.....or we could just never get the track and LP would scrap it like they did the Machine Shop Mixtape song. lol.

The report does say that Mike and Chester requested to go into a studio instead of going to the welcome party before even landing in Taipei. And around 8:30 p.m. the sextuplet went straight to the studio to record new song.

 

But it's really brief, it's only in the first paragraph of the article, and it goes into details of the taipei arena and their world tour DVD thing.

 

Also it said the the six of them used 3 cars to get there. Uh... Two for each car? eh? Waste of gas much lol
