it sucks because i've never remixed Korn....although maybe Stenners will listen to this one. :-p

 

 

But hey, I want it to be good, so give me some criticism, don't just tell me if it sucks or if it's good, tell me WHY. That includes Leveling issues. Ive already heard a few of them on my iPod that I didn't hear on the computer.

Okay. Do you mean like, the samples are low quality, or the mixing / leveling is making it feel low quality?

 

Because, for one, the samples I can't change, what's there is there. Secondly, I spent about 5 hours between 3AM and 8 Relevelling the shit, and saving everything as .wavs as I went. I'll upload those in a few.

 

I've got the following in .wav format:

1. Drums Only Track

2. Guitar Only Track

3. Vocals Only Track

4. Instruments Only Track

5. Full Remix Track

 

I think that's what all of LP's singles should include, but what do I know?

 

But, please, PLEASE tell me what I can do to fix it.

EDIT - I might as well mention that I redid most of the drums. There were many mixing issues with the trebles and basses, so I just decided to go ahead and redo the entire drum track. It made the drums a lot better, in my opinion. And, as such, I also redid the guitar. While they remain mostly the same, there are more electronic flairs here and there, and more dynamics. I also took a small turntable sample from the Papercut (LP) samples, and used that quite liberally in this. Which, while I'm listening and typing, it needs to be taken down a notch.... lol. I'll fix that up later too.

 

 

One more thing, if you decide to give me constructive criticism, or notice something that needs to be fixed (aside from the aforementioned scratching), then please let me know which track, what part, even a time would be great. Thanks

maybe it would help if you upload it in a higher bit rate...like 224..or something like that.
