But where your grotesqueries of other religions derive from sick minded individuals who believe themselves to be followers of such, scientology is bullshit all of its own accord. That is the religion that says these things. I don't know about those other ones except the last one, but it, at least, isn't a statement of the religion, it's a statement of the more vocal minority, very few people indeed.

in all religions, we listen to the minorities anyways, how many priests do you think catholics have? 1 for every person in the faith? how about monks? thats the point of religion, that people place their faith in well, a minority as of sorts, but ina faith in which they feel like a greter being is essentially there, how many gods do you think we have in this world, 6bn? all of us who are in a religion,listen to a minority, catholics pray to ONE God and listen from a book written essetially by only 15-20 men,while we listen to it from one priest at a mass ceremony

Uhm...all I have to say is that religion in general has caused too much shit in this world...I personaly do not need anything else to believe in except myself and people around me I love... I don't know a lot about different religions but to me religion in general is whatever but hey, I don't care if you're religious or not, I'm fine with anything, but I do not intend to believe in something like that... They're just there to make you to depend on it and somehow be addicted...I don't know...

Let there be whatever religion...if it makes people feel good and be better persons than it's all good...but if it makes shit...well, it's a shitty world anyway...this is somthing I'm sure it won't change...at least until there is a human race existing...

in a way it is better to have all these religions,its a point of difference,while yes it causes wars and tensions, but hey, its alot better than all worshipping "one ideal" or "one god",granted alot of them are "false", and alot of them arent really there for the well being of others, but the point of religion is that it allows people to place their faith in something, if nothing else. being human,we tend to spoil this, pointing out which religion is better,taking offense at any slight slur on our god(s),starting wars simply because..."god said so"

 

for people,its the reassurance that there is a higher being of power, and no ref we aint talkig about you , buta power or corporeal being that looks over us and provides us with something to a)look forward to when we're dead and b)in times of need, there is something/someone to turn to,prawyer is a very powerful thing, sure it might not win wars,build buildings or provide fresh water, but it acts as a beacon for the masses, anyone ever seen footage of muslims praying at Mecca would understand, to travel thousands of miles to a holy city to pray to your god is something these people look forward to

 

people undertake journeys to find something within them consider their jounryes holy and religious, many reformed people have turned to religion to change their lives, religion isnt just about faith, it also provides,well in most, a guide on how to "live", gods 10 commandments for example, while we have "laws" and morale guidelines, the mere fact that such things such as the 10 commandments and koran,seeing as theyre from a "higher being" as opposed to something written by mere mortals(we wont debate the whole da vinci code and religious conspiracy theories here),drive people to believe,worship and more importantly,live

How does one come to the conclusion that religions are "false"? As in multiple religions? Faith is from the inside, if a "God" helps bring it out, good...but without you it is just air.

im not talking about the mainstream religons, im talking about those occultists,like UFO worshipping and also when we are in a religion, there is a tendency to not care about anothers religion, hence at times, we do renounce others religons

well you can come to a conclusion that a religion is false when say....your leader has secretly built a space ship or has been spending ur worship money on holidays to the bahamas, you dont see the pope,sheiks or buddhist monks doing that do ya

Faith is faith, without YOU it is air...I can go on and on about the failed theories of religion and where they fall to nothing more than war mongering...Holy War is nothing more than one of the problems with religion. Faith starts with a person, if a "God" helps it come out then so be it, but personally my faith is within myself. Oh and the Holy War as a name is a hippocritical statement on religion, as if to justify war in one way or another.
