LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 My friend has an iPhone, is it basically the same thing except the fact that iPhone is a phone? lol If it were me though, I would take the 80GB iPod. haha The other features on the iPhone seemed a bit elaborate. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Yea... It's kinda hard to mess around with the iTouch when you barely get it and stuff. After a while, it becomes second nature to you, though. I've come to like it a lot... but I need more memory! haha My friend also has an iPhone... it's not THAT different lol Just the fact that it's a phone haha. Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 hehe that's nice. Well right now I'm just hoping for something MORE than my one GB nano... I don't even know how I survive. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 1GB?! Wow! lol Is it Nano, or the Shuffle? My friend used to have a 1GB Shuffle before she got an 80GB Zune lol Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 It's a nano, thank god, ( i mean at least it has a screen...) But yeah, i really really need something more. ANYTHING. lol My mom's convinced that I cannot honestly listen to more than ONE GIGABYTE of music. Yeah, um think again. haha Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 What is that? Like, less than 250 songs? LOL I'd literally die from that. Props to you for living like that for so long =P Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Nonono, NOT EVEN. like 200 max. How I live for so long? Extremely, extremely good question. rofl Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 200!? That's 50 less than 250! XD Well, I hope you get a new MP3 soon =P If I could split my GB, I'd totally hand you what I'm not using (like 3GB's lol). But... tough luck >=) Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 haha i'd gladly take that 3 GB xD Don't know how much of a difference it would make to me, someone who's been living on like 200 songs since forever. This is why I don't even bother to keep expanding my music anymore... I can't afford to. lol Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 _-_ Well, you could always listen to your music while you use the computer, no? Uhh... what do you mean you don't know how much difference it would make? No longer would you suffer nights with less than 200 songs on your iPod. Your new amount of memory would would bring joy and motivation to your life. With your newfound happiness and motivation, you'd graduate from high school early, enter college, and earn your degree in half the time it would take everyone else. You would then find a steady, high-paying job with only your extra 3GB's of music to thank for. Think about it. Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008  wtf??? yeaahh that's so going to happen. Then when I become a millionaire, you and your 3 extra gigs of music is the first I'm going to thank. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Hey. You never know =P Music is one of the few portals we have from society. Even that small little moment in which you listen to music could spark a sudden epiphany. And that could lead to future success. Life is weird, and sometimes, the weird WILL happen lol 1 Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Yup, that's very true. Especially in people of today, music plays this big role in everything they do. :] Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Wow... I meant to say "Music is one of the few portals we have to get AWAY from society" lol You're a smart girl. You got it either way hehe. But umm... the same can be said about all types of art. People have always found a way to express themselves, whether it was through a painting, poetry, or music. By expressing yourself, you open a myriad of possibilities for yourself. So my made-up story about the 3GB is a possible story haha. Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Yes I'm a very smart girl. But technically, when you're listening to music, you're not expressing yourself. -__- haha so your 3GB story won't happen. But alright, I'll give you points for the effort. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Yes you are! You express yourself by the type of music you listen to =o Taste is a way of expressing yourself, you know hehe. You can also express yourself through the type of genre you're listening to at the moment. For example, lets say you're listening to something heavy like Rammstein. You're obviously mad. What if you're listening to something a way more mellow, like Coldplay. Maybe you're relaxed. Expressing yourself doesn't necessarily have to be through something self-produced. It can come from an outside source too =O Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Alright, I know. ^^ Enough with your rants about music and expression and art. But you know, I don't know another decent person, personally, who listens to even the same TYPE of music as me. Maybe I just don't look hard enough, but none of my friends listen to rock or rap or remotely anything like LP. haha Truthfully, that's mainly why I get mixed feelings when LP come to Canada, if no one's actually gonna love me enough to come with me to one, alright, as if my parents will let their precious little child ALONE to some crazy concert. ;\ But ah well, I'm still young, full of fresh opportunities... unlike you. haha just kidding. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Whoa whoa whoa there! You're only three years younger than me. Let's get that straight XD To tell you the truth, the concerts aren't THAT crazy haha. And, uhh... how is it that you don't know anyone who likes the MAINSTREAM Linkin Park? haha. Everyone likes them. Even my dad does XD It's not that hard, Jess. Have you looked under all the rocks? Oh wait... you live in Canada. Have you looked underneath all the igloos? Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 You know what we have to get straight? In like 75% of Canada, you can't even MAKE igloos, and even if you did, they MELT! lol  Yeah I know, like people are going to hit each other with wine bottles? But in the minds of parents like mine, hm... they have pretty good imaginations. o.o Haha and here, really Linkin Park isn't THAT popular, I haven't EVER seen one of their music vids on tv. (alright I confess I don't watch too much TV but...) Heard a few recent singles on the radio, but that's about it. o.O Anyways, like people at my school? They either listen to like asian music, pop, or the MAINEST of the MAINSTREAM music (sick and tired of souja boy...) And when those people see people like me, decent, happy, completely sane children listening to like rock, not even THAT hard, lol we're like, death metalheads or sumthing. It's sad to a funny extent. Okay I know like a couple who like LP, but not enough to see them live. Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Haha. I know, I know. I was just messing with you. =P I've been to Canada before. It sure was a letdown not to see any igloos lol Wine bottles? lol With LP touring with bands like MCR, I wouldn't be surprised if marshmallows were flying across the arena haha. Man... I'm considered a "goth" in my school for having long hair and listening to rock XD It's really is sad, so I understand you on that one. hehe Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 lol so is there like cowboys riding around in texas? Is it always either dawn or dusk? lmao Marshmallows? haha, no, more likely bras. Yeah, sometimes pisses me off, when some of my closest friends would consider me goth or emo just because I listen to music harder than theirs and wear dark clothing or whatnot. >< sad... lol so keep your hair you look better with them. xD Well it was quite pleasant conversing with you but tragically I must fare my departure. So cya ;] Quote
Person Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Actually, I've NEVER seen a cowboy XD Gosh... fine. No igloos haha. If you insist, I'll keep my hair lol And I agree. It was nice poking you and such. We should do this again sometime =P Adios! Quote
LPShinodaFM Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 Alright..... (i'm saying alright a lot lately, am i? lol it's my new "okay" I like it) so life is a little busy these days, and a little busy meaning very busy. French Tache Finale *pulls hair* English group summitive *tears hair* Art summitive *rips hair* and exaaaaaaaaaaams coming up. -___- Ugh excuse my life for being stupid at the moment. lol Quote
woodyloveslinkin Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Exams should be fine. As long as you know what you're talking about. Take it from me, I've recently graduated from Year 12 and I had to do three major exams in that year. Quote Mia Elizabeth 18/2/10 Kate Helena 8/7/11 My baby girls <3
LPShinodaFM Posted January 17, 2008 Author Posted January 17, 2008 I haven't updated much because it's been pretty much the same for me throughout the week. Must finish assignments. Must study for exams. Still the same right now, but I have already finished most of my assignments. Therefore right now it's Must study for exams. Fun, no? Quote
